June 6, 1944. There is so much work to be done. The thought depresses me, but I know that I can’t dwell on it too much. If I am to survive the war and find my way to Amélie in Paris, I have to stay on my guard and be ready for anything. At the thought of Paris, I lean back. Memories of those moments remain with me. After almost five years of separation, the promises we made to each other remain. I need to find her. First, I just have to survive one of the most significant battles yet, the one they are calling D-Day. Reaching Paris and finding Amélie has never felt so impossible.

Pinched my heart When it comes to audiobooks, there are only a few that I enjoyed and really loved. No Ocean Wide Enough is one of those historical fiction that pinched my heart. I loved it.
