waste of time

I struggled to finish this 6 hour audible novel. the story is laughably childish, even for a young adult novel. the OVERALL story isn't advanced, at all.... as per usual with most Star Wars canon. this felt like another Disney cash grab. I've bought and read or listened to every new canon novel from Star Wars to date but this was my last. The story never moves forward, there is nothing at stakes, and no character development. This cow is out of milk Disney, DO BETTER

this novels suffers from the same fate as all new as canon novels, there is nothing at stake and no new stories being told. It is filler and feels like a money grab by Disney. I am almost done. I've bought and read every sw novel to date and nothing ever changes. Just safe, bland, stories that don't move the story forward... at all

narrator is terrible. story is a jumbled mess.

unlike the previous two trilogy . this one was a jumbled mess. It rambled on for what seems like forever to reach an unsatisfying point. Where as previously, these novels all flowed seamlessly to a final point, this one struggled to get there. Not to mention a slew of unlikable characters. And at some point, the women in Fitz's life need to stop treating him like a toddler, and he needs to stop allowing them to do so. Not my favorite Fitz novel.

this could have been summed up in three small paragraphs before rogue one. the decision by lucas film to remove the crawl text was most likely because it would hinder book sales. Thin story and obvious money grab. dissapointed
