Historia
One September morning, Doug accidentally runs right into another surfer on the beach. There are rules about these things. The other guy should call Doug a jerk, Doug should say, "my bad", and they should both paddle back out and move on. Problem is, the other surfer doesn't want to move on. He wants to fight. And for once in his life, Doug wants to fight back.

I love the title! Good short story
Revisado: 07-25-24
I am a huge fan of Don Winslow. I’ve listened to many of his books. I think Cartel was my first read. I picked the book up at an airport kiosk. Love, love, love! Ed Harris is always a pleasure to listen to. Great narration!

Narration is so distracting and unbelievably annoying!
Revisado: 09-01-15
I was so excited to see that Paulo Coelho had written a book about the Camino and that it was available as an audio book. Two friends were making final preparations for their trip to Spain and my interest was peaked. After about two minutes into the book I experienced buyers remorse! The narration so distracts from the story! I am not sure that I can finish the book! The reader switches from character to character using horrible fake accents with a scripted, forced monotone that makes me want to throw my device across the room! I am a huge Paulo Coelho fan and The Alchemist is one of my favorite books. I think that I would have been wiser to purchase a paper copy of this book. If I could give the performance less than one star, I would. I urge you not to waste your money on this audio book.
