Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Relatablility
Revisado: 01-23-25
I loved that I didn't have to be a scientist to understand this story. Yes there was a lot of science and some math and most of it went over my head but I loved how it was secondary to the story and he/the narrator would explain what was happening so you didn't have to know the science.
I read a review that said there was so much science that it was unrelatable and I didn't find that at all. I tend to like to make my own decisions when it comes to whether I like stories or not.
this story was more about a man working through daily problems that were put in his path. I loved where the story takes you. and I don't want to give too much away because that's what I loved about this story. I had no idea what was going to happen.
But if you do not finish this book you are going to miss one of the all-time greatest endings of all times. I laughed and cried and love this end of the book so much I chose it for my book club because I cannot wait to talk about it with my friends.

Historia
The daughter of a pagan priestess believes Noah's prophecy - especially when she discovers the horrifying secret behind her city's primary export. Belief in the One God is dangerous in Cainlan, a city founded on the worship of the god Cain. But when Eliana meets the son of a religious fanatic she is drawn to Shem's caring manner and deep faith. She believes his assertion that the One God will wipe the earth clean of the corruption that fills it.

Interesting idea, but I wasn't a fan.

I really wanted to like this book but I almost gave up because I was a little bored and didn't really like any of the characters. One thing that annoyed me was the narration. It was amateur -ish. If the narrators are bad they can really hurt the entire story.
I ended up wanting to see how the author would get to the end, already figuring out the end of the story. However, there are some improbable twists that I just wasn't buying.
It was an interesting idea but I wasn't a fan of this book.
I received this book at no charge in exchange for an honest review.
