Historia
In this landmark audiobook, the originator and pioneering researcher into Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lays out the psychological flexibility skills that make it one of the most powerful approaches research has yet to offer. These skills have been shown to help even where other approaches have failed. Science shows that they are useful in virtually every area - mental health, physical health, social processes, and performance.

His best book yet
Revisado: 08-11-20
Dr. Hayes delivers a powerful message throughout this book, relying on his own story as an example of the principles of ACT and their life changing properties. He is so vulnerable in this book that it will endear any reader. His openness also removes the iron curtain one can feel when reading a book by a mental health expert. It’s easy to think the author has it all together and is speaking from an ivory tower. But not so here.
I can not recommend this more highly. I’ve already purchased tons of paperbacks for colleagues and friends.
My only criticism is that the narrator mispronounces “tinnitus” and it made me twitch every time he said it. But that’s minor and no reflection on the content.

Tim Curry really ought to narrate every book ever written. He is so versatile and engaging and never ceases to make me smile with his distinct elocution. He is a treasure and is perfect for this classic. I highly recommend it to any lover of Dickens and Christmas lore.

Phenomenal review of Lewis’s Narnia and trilogy
Revisado: 08-23-18
I highly recommend this series of lectures by Dr. Ward. He presents compelling evidence that some might argue should have been obvious to avoid Lewis reader, but which have escaped the public conversation about The Chronicles of Narnia. The enlightenment he offers here will change your reading of the books in a welcomed way. You won’t regret listening.

Historia
Following Jane from her childhood as an orphan in Northern England through her experience as a governess at Thornfield Hall, Charlotte Brontë's Gothic classic is an early exploration of women's independence in the mid-19th century and the pervasive societal challenges women had to endure. At Thornfield, Jane meets the complex and mysterious Mr. Rochester, with whom she shares a complicated relationship that ultimately forces her to reconcile the conflicting passions of romantic love and religious piety.

Wonderful performance!

I was skeptical to download this version because I was clearly unfamiliar with the incredible range of Ms. Newton. She was brilliant! The woman of a thousand voices. She captured every nuance and emotion of each setting and character. I was enraptured the whole way through. Do yourself a favor and get this version if you love this story. She does it justice.
