Historia
Hemsby is thriving; a seaside town on the up. The holidaymakers are flooding in, and so is the money. For the majority of those who live there, the resort is idyllic. But not for Jamie Garrett. Fifteen years old and bored to tears, Hemsby is the last place he wants to be. Aside from the occasional sea rescue, nothing exciting ever happens. That's about to change as a mysterious new game arrives at the beachfront arcade. No one knows of its origin, or the rules of the game, but soon, it is the talk of the resort.

Sucked Me In
Revisado: 05-04-16
I was sucked into this story from the first second. I had a clue as to the culprit early on, but never guessed the reason. The narration was great.

A Little Slow
Revisado: 05-04-16
The story moved a little slow for my liking, but it was interesting. The resolution was different than I thought it would be, and I didn't love it.

Beautifully Written
Revisado: 05-04-16
As someone with a chronic illness, this story hits home. Although what I have in no way compares to Huntington's Disease, I can relate to the desperation that Mara feels throughout the story. I came to really care about her. Scott's story also broke my heart. This was a beautifully written story.

I want to live in BoonsBoro
Revisado: 04-24-16
I loved revisiting the BoonsBoro crew. The conflict in this story was less dramatic than the one in The Next Always, the first book, but it was a perfect conflict for Owen and Avery. There were some great laugh out loud moments, mostly due to the great narration by MacLeod Andrews. I can't wait to listen to the conclusion of this series!

No substance
Revisado: 04-17-16
If you like a book with any substance at all, this is not the book for you. The characters were not really developed but the sex scenes sure were. The narration was unimpressive. The same voice was used for every character and it was often difficult to discern who was speaking. I have no intention in continuing this series.

Best of the Novellas
Revisado: 04-05-16
This is my favorite of the novellas in this series. I really liked the Alice in Wonderland theme. As always there were many laugh out loud moments thanks to the superb narration of Susan Ericksen. I always feel like I'm listening to friends when I listen to her narration. I'm sad that I've almost caught up with the series.

Not a Bad Debut
Revisado: 03-23-16
Rachel Knight is not the most likable character. She's rough around the edges and has a sarcastic sense of humor. Bailey was a nice counterpart. While I never pictured an ADA being so involved in the investigative part of crime-solving, Clark makes it believable. I enjoyed the plot and became invested in the ending. The narration was great.
