Such an amazing rollercoaster ride!
Revisado: 03-03-22
Kristen Hannah does it yet again! This book will take you on many highs and lows emotionally speaking. I think it's a great book for any age group as I could relate to the high school kids and the parents in the street. I highly recommend it for someone that has lost someone to drunk driving. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recommended read for WWII fans
Revisado: 01-17-22
The story is a great one and the narrator did a fantastic job bringing it to life. I pride myself in being a prolific WWII reader but during reading this book I looked up some of the events and found that it was loosely based on the great war correspondent Martha Gellhorn. I'm very surprised that I have not read more books about her.

I absolutely loved this book. I going myself becoming infuriated with Annet when she tried to bring her 21st century womanhood to the 19th century were she currently is. It reminds me of Outlander, so you'll love it if your a fan.

Good book, but the main character annoyed me
Revisado: 03-02-20
I have loved this series but the main character seems to just annoy the crap out of me. She seems way too nosey for my liking. Most people don't go all "detective" on vacation. As annoying as she was, I will still continue with the series

I didn't enjoy this book. i had to really focus on the narrators accent which made it unenjoyable for me. however, the book did provide some good explanations of the different type of headaches and possible treatment

Historia
Not all problems can be solved with a mute button. Everyone knows Rebecca Marley. She’s the crazy, brave, and introspective woman who spent nine months without talking. Everyone loves her. She’s raw, honest, and relatable. She’s also rich and famous, although I’m sure you knew that already. You’ve probably read her articles, or her book, or seen one of her many interviews. She’s also socially anxious, self-conscious, and self-degrading, but she tries to keep that to herself. Her once-silent world has changed, and the noise has engulfed her.

if only it were longer
Revisado: 02-18-20
I absolutely love Christine Bernard. I feel as though she has climbed into my mind and wrote about my personality. my only complaint is I wish it were longer.... much longer. I'm only 3 hours in and I know I'm staying up late to finish this master piece. I strongly recommend reading Mute first so you get a better feeling for the main character. the narrator does an amazing job so you get an even better feel for the emotions the characters feel. do yourself a favor and read anything by Bernard! 😁
