Historia
The OH-58D Kiowa Warrior—a deep reconnaissance scout and attack aircraft—was legendary to those it supported. Regularly flying mere feet off of the ground while intentionally drawing enemy fire, almost everyone called Kiowa pilots crazy. Responsible for hunting elusive enemy fighters and protecting those under their charge, Kiowa crews displayed a fierce and intense devotion that was unparalleled.

Great Audiobook, Great Story
Revisado: 06-05-23
I found this to be attention grabbing and gritty real, more relevant than any news broadcast I ever heard during the war. Glad he made it home, though many others didn't, he was able to bring part of their stories home in his.
I enjoyed this audiobook, and found myself sitting in parking lots or my driveway (I listen while I'm driving) to get to the end of the chapter, or sometimes the next chapter.

Historia
The federal government is openly hostile toward the Texan people. Any attempt to drain the swamp, however valiant, is doomed to failure. If we cannot have authentic presidential elections, then the United States is no longer a constitutional republic. The US Constitution still exists on paper, but no longer exists in practice. If Texans want to live in a free and prosperous country, with limited government and the rule of law, they should be willing to consider independence from the federal regime. Peaceful, lawful secession will give Texans control over their own destinies.

Every Texan, Every American should read this book!
Revisado: 07-12-22
This book was both well researched and well written (also well narrated). It would be great if every citizen read this book, especially every patriot. I live in Texas, because it's one of the most free States. I used to think it was pointless to even desire the freedom we were born to, but after reading and listening to this book and carefully considering the cases he puts forth I think we can "peacefully and legally" shake off the big government globalist socialist yoke of oppression, IF enough responsible citizens are willing to stand up and make a difference.

Historia
Jesse McDermitt lives in the backcountry and very little happens near him that he's not fully aware of. During a quiet moment, he watches a slow-moving shrimp trawler as it serenely cruises by, barely visible on the horizon at the edge of the three-mile limit. The tranquility of the moment is shattered when the trawler is suddenly demolished in an enormous explosion. What caused the explosion? And why was a woman from Jesse's past on board? To find the answers to these questions and more, Jesse and friends will work from Miami to Key West, then across the water to Fort Myers.

However, he also knows his way around boats and has an old friend living free and easy in the Florida Keys.

Historia
A rushed rescue mission doesn't go as planned for retired Marine Jesse McDermitt and the crew of Gaspar's Revenge. The two kidnap victims are rescued, but they'd rather be taken back to the Jamaican drug runners who were hired to kill them than return home to laid-back Beaufort, South Carolina, and give the man who wants them dead the chance to hire someone more competent.

Historia
In this fourth installment of the Jesse McDermitt series, Jesse faces an antagonist unlike any he's faced before, post-traumatic stress. A friend's son, who was dishonorably discharged from the Corps, is suffering from nightmares, brought on by the incident that was the catalyst for his discharge. With Jesse's help he learns to cope with his demons and gets his discharge overturned, so that he may once again serve the country he loves.

Really good story with excellent narration
Revisado: 09-13-20
Wow! This story completely took me by surprise, I'm not sure what I expected but Kelli's Pine surpassed it. The way that the author wove the stories together of the different characters in their different times was captivating. I also appreciated how sports and athleticism came into a major focus and then faded as the relationships overtook that focus. the narrator did a superb job of character distinction and never fell into the dull "he said" stuff that so many narrators trip on when dealing with dialogue.
All in all, this was a great book to listen to, and is my best Audible experience so far, having listened to over 100 books.

I enjoyed story, I've lived in the mountains and moved to the Gulf Coast. it's interesting to see grease live on the water and move to the mountains. I appreciate situational awareness and oneness with his surroundings it was described in this book. I thought Timothy G Little did a very good job narating the story.
