very timely. perhaps a book whose time has come

I bought this book a few years ago, and I set it down to listen to some other books. I just recently came across it in my collection and decided to go through it. I was impressed by how close to the actual events of today this is. If someone is interested in a little theory as to the events of our day, this is a good way to learn. A fictional story with headlines of the day made real.

Honestly, I am a fan of these two nerds. I want to take high school or maybe college physics all over and enjoy it.
The humor in presentation is so worth it. I really have to go back for an encore.
Complex science is brought to Life for the utility and the fun of it. Prior to this, my favorite scientist was Beaker from the Muppets.
They bring out future innovations and explain what is being done to work toward these. Their illustrations are such a fresh reward. Very visual and not cliche at all.
I often snickered in science class back in the day but for different reasons. I really enjoyed this space elevator of technology info.

A Bit Too Textbook-like

The reading was flawless, the message was a message of hope. That is the take-away for me. However, it seemed a little like a thesis.
I don't know if you like the technical, and the minutia, but, while I enjoy a certain level of statistics, at times, I was lost.
I wasn't lost from lack of understanding. Just that once a point is made, I usually like to move on. In the case of this book, it would have done me well to read an abridged version. I found myself hoping for the end, and not so much in the same way I would for a Sherlock Holmes story.
I am glad the work was created, now we bloggers can write articles about the concepts. 'Want to write an encouraging piece about the hope of a modernistic future? Here's your reference work.

Most significant WWII Book so far

This book was so thoughtfully crafted. There were numerous times throughout the narrative in which I was drawn to tears. It is a hopeful representation of what Took place in that spot of horrendous tragedy. Well I was blown away by the account of the escape, I was doubly pleased to read the telling of what happened afterwards. This truly is a must read for everyone.

The Master's Handiwork is a mentoring book. Perhaps the word discipleship would be more descriptive. God designed the older, more experienced saints to instruct the younger ones in order to assure that new ground could be covered quickly, and old mistakes would not need to be repeated.

I have read three books from Jeff Klick now. I enjoy each one this one was particularly useful for today's Christian. I agree with most of it and the part that I don't agree with, I happen to know that Jeff would not hate me for it. Jeff is a refreshing voice for Christian writers today. His heart is aimed at helping fathers to become the leaders that they were designed to be. This book is not specifically written to fathers but just ministry is such an encouragement to fathers that his passion shows through the text.
