I devoured this audio book in 2 days. It kept me guessing & on the edge of my seat! It had some eerie/creepy vibes that had my mouth dropping open and I was constantly asking what's going on. I did manage to figure out the plot twist before it was revealed - maybe because I'm always looking for clues or because I've read so many Freida books at this point but I still loved it! I thought it was a really good plot twist. Couldn't stop talking about this book to my friends so I think that's a win!

The only negative is that I didn't like this narrator as much as her other audiobooks. However, I would still recommend this book to any Freida/thriller book fan!

Decent but room for improvement

Enjoyed the initial opening scenes and was initially hooked. Then it skipped over the "honeymoon" and Vegas wedding which didn't make sense to me as that was their first time getting together & part of what started their relationship and I always felt like I was missing part of the story. Instead of being told what happened I would have liked to have those scenes. Some of the story also dragged on a little and I found myself getting bored at times. I also feel like the narrator's voice didn't match the character's personalities but maybe that was just me. But there were some funny moments, some hot scenes, some heartwarming moments. Decent overall but room for improvement.

Cute Christmas Story

Cute Christmas story if you are looking for something sweet. Loved that there was no third act break up. Narration is great.

Another fantastic Ali Hazelwood story

Has every I love about Ali Hazelwood's stories. Secret pining, misunderstandings that lead to love confessions, a sprinkling of spice. For a short story I thought she also did a wonderful job with the pacing & setting up the character's chemistry/tension.

Overall had a good idea but disappointing

I normally love anything by Tessa Bailey and she's an automatic, one click author for me. This particular story came across as corny and awkward to me, however. The dirty talk in this one had me both cringing and laughing - not in a good way. I also just didn't fall in love with the MMC of this story like most of her books either. and I would really love to see an epilogue that doesn't involve the woman bare foot and pregnant. It's so cliché and outdated. I liked the idea she had here- farmer meets single mom in a small town thrift store, instant love, and Christmas vibes. But unfortunately, this one wasn't her best work. I'm still a huge Tessa Bailey fan but this one wasn't for me.

The narration was fantastic. The inner monologue and dialogue kept me laughing. Loved these two characters and loved the HEA. I'm ready to binge read the entire series now!

Love deep diving into ACOTAR!

Love the deep dive into ACOTAR - the discussions on foreshadowing, bread crumbs, etc. It makes me want to read the series again and I can't wait to see what other books/book topics are discussed!

Good but not Great

Nice little audio book to listen to while at work. Good story but not my top favorite. Story started out a little slow and some of the writing felt like any generic, random rom com, predictable, nothing unique. But had some cut, funny moments and I liked how the writer included the main characters cat and turtle in the story. Good narrators that didn't have monotone voices, easy to listen to. Worth a listen if you just want an audio book thats included in your premium membership without having to pay extra or use a credit.
