Historia
Kell Kressia is a legend, a celebrity, a hero. Aged just 17, he set out on an epic quest with a band of wizened fighters to slay the Ice Lich and save the world, but only he returned victorious. The Lich was dead, the ice receded, and the Five Kingdoms were safe. Ten years have passed; Kell lives a quiet farmer's life, while stories about his heroism are told in every tavern across the length and breadth of the land. But now a new terror has arisen in the north. Beyond the frozen circle, north of the Frostrunner clans, something has taken up residence in the Lich's abandoned castle.

Thoroughly Enjoyed It!
Revisado: 12-19-22
The beginning took a bit to get rolling but I can say once this book took off, I didn't want it to end. I enjoyed the MC & the way the author gave him purity in integrity & knowledge. It allowed the previous story, which we only learned thru the MC, as he worked everything out in his head. He was no longer an eager young man wanting to be in the center of a great adventure. The MC learned, as in all adventures, the Hero's are actually jackasses & he actually was able to outlive the 11 other "Heroic Friends" while fighting off a very, very evil "Leach". Not "Liche", not a liche...
*It left me smiling at the end*
More to come I'm told too.

Historia
In the climax of the Traitor Son Cycle, the allied armies of the Wild and the Kingdoms of men and women must face Ash for control of the gates to the hermetical universe, and for control of their own destinies. But exhaustion, treachery, and time may all prove deadlier enemies. In Alba, Queen Desiderata struggles to rebuild her kingdom wrecked by a year of civil war, even as the Autumn battles are fought in the west. In the Terra Antica, the Red Knight attempts to force his unwilling allies to finish the Necromancer instead of each other.

1-Question:
Why does Audible have this book showing twice on its website? I cannot understand why books I've bought already show as a new never-read book on Audible's website? This writer is wonderful & I hope & pray he continues to add more new stories for his fans to enjoy 😉

A wonderful story ❤
Revisado: 01-28-21
The ONLY drawback is that at the very close of this series, the author seems to have rushed the ending. He jumps between characters & places. It wasn't so bad in the 1st 2 books. He was able to pull all of it together & weave a great tale. However, this book takes characters into the future & also moves them sideways sometimes. Very confusing 😕. You MUST listen to every chapter very carefully so you won't miss anything. Us Adults with ADHD have to go back & listen to those chapters very carefully "Just In Case" we missed something.

Surprised & Happy for it!
Revisado: 01-20-21
I'm more of a magic, sword and swashbuckling kinda gal, but I took a risk and was pleasantly surprised 😮! Give it a try, Audible allows exchanges, which I appreciate & use if the narrative is not worthy. I've now got 1,397 books to re-read if I don't want to exchange or spend money. I Love Audible.com!

Great Story & It Stays Great Thruout 👍🏻
Revisado: 12-30-20
This was a very "comfortable" read. Escapism is the best word to describe these last 3 books in this series. I would like to mention 1 thing that the editors didn't catch & the author has done repeatedly that gets a bit old. Please be consistent with your characters & their side stories. I keep wondering why in book 4 the characters act surprised about a topic that I know was told to them earlier in books 2-3 but they act like it's new to them in later books. No consistency or ability to keep the story straight. It does happen quite a bit thruout all of the books quite honestly. 🤔

Historia
Half a millennium ago, in a desperate attempt to defeat the Ithonian Empire, Kanderon Crux and her allies banished the city of Imperial Ithos from Anastis. Her dread weapon, the Exile Splinter, even erased the memory of its location from the universe. Now it's returning and bringing the Exile Splinter back with it. The great powers of the continent are desperately hunting for the lost city, knowledge lost even to Kanderon herself. None know what ancient Ithonian weapons and enchantments might still be found in the ruins, but the Exile Splinter alone would be a prize to justify war.

Pretty Good
Revisado: 12-27-20
The 1st 2 books in the series were pretty good. I don't know what this book was though. I'm assuming it was a continuation of the story but the 'time line' was confusing to me throughout it.

Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

I Loved it!
Revisado: 06-12-20
This was a very fine tale. I enjoyed listening to the 4 different races coming together to work to remove a blight in their world. All except for the "Human race'' who chose to try removing the others or forcing constraints on the other 3, kind of what we've learned to expect from being Human.
The main character was a "dragon" in humanely form with almost super powers. By the time the main character had been born again, he'd finally realized that you just can't count on crazy human kings, woke up and decided that killing was wrong and he'd never kill again.
I enjoyed the narrator, sometimes his female voices were a bit manly but it was a treat to hear.
Thank you
