A compelling story highlighting a man's journey to find himself, as well as his purpose, and his God. With all of the unrest, riots, and hate, a man puts forth the only viable solution to the volatility of the Middle East, and that solution is love. Specifically, the love of Christ. We must not be in a race to see who can hate the most, Instead, we need to learn to live like this man did, totally unafraid to love more than others do. This man is truly inspiring. I pray that God blesses and keeps him, and that ten thousand more rise to take his place.

Poignant and Provocative

A heartfelt and reflective accounting of the friction that is created when you are called on to kill. A glimpse behind the pomp and circumstance of military parade to view the seedy and dark underbelly of war. Few books I read these days cause me to stop and question my beliefs as a veteran, fewer still cause me to tear up and cry. Thank you for sharing your story, Dr. Fritz.

I have paid for many titles on Audible that were not as entertaining as this. The production value was wonderful. I felt as though I could see everything as it unfolded. Very impressive first outing. I look forward to your future offerings. This will do much to increase the value of your subscriptions.

I am a big fan of Klavan. I am an even bigger fan of Jesus, so I bought the ticket and took the ride. I am glad I did. What I experienced was a thoughtful and very nuanced look at what it is to know Jesus. The Bald One described how too many of us miss out on the joy and peace that could be ours because we focus on our relationship with the word, and not our relationship with the Word that became flesh, Jesus..

What a wonderful teacher.

A must read/hear book that addresses many essential issues for the believer. The author narrates the book, and this lends itself greatly to the overall enjoyment as Ravi had such a rich and beautiful voice. I would highly recommend this book as well as his podcasts "Let My People Think."

From a Time When Horror Wasn't Horrible

An interesting little story that I had largely forgotten about, but immensely enjoyed reading some 20+ years ago. Like an old friend from the small town that you grew up in, it was a pleasant and satisfying trip revisiting it as an audio book. Thank you Mr. King for making the truly frightening task of cleaning my garage tolerable..

The Stand with Zombies

The writer is admittedly clever, but the tale has been told so many times before it feels staler than crypt air. You could do worse on a long drive to Kansas, but there is nothing here that you haven't heard many times before citizen. If however, you are looking for the audio equivalent of potato chips this is the book for you.

Mindless Fun

I should have stopped after the zombies...

More of the same. Normally this would have been a good thing as Patient Zero was a good ride. However, this book ranged from preachy to perverse. I am sorry, but you have to pick only one of those. I honestly stopped caring towards the end of the story. I figured if humanity got wiped out at least there would be no book 3.
