Narrator doesn't know how to pronounce BASIC words

I listen to audio books frequently and can handle some mispronunciations in a book but this narrator had many words that she did not pronounce correctly. Frankly, I am surprised and disappointed that this was considered fit to be published. It completely took away from the story line and I won't listen to a book by the same narrator again.

Good book but great in audiobook.

While I read this book initially and thought it was good, listening to it via audiobook made it great. When I read it, I had not been all that thrilled with Rhys, however, the narrator really brought out his character and I laughed out loud so many times while listening to this.

I love most books by this author, so listening to the book after reading it is a guarantee. I have listened to all of her other books and I have to say the style of narration in this book was the best. I loved how the male and female characters were read, it made the book seamless.

The beauty of Mariana's writing style is that there isn't just one or a few memorable moments but a series of building moments that blossom into a full story, so the overall the end result is that the overall book is very memorable.
Which character – as performed by Callie Dalton – was your favorite?
Callie did well on all the characters but did a great job on the lead character, Vanessa.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, when Aidan was at the finish line of the marathon and the epilogue.
Any additional comments?
Read AND listen to this book - you really get to feel like you know the characters (specifically Vanessa) by the end of the book.

One of the best books of 2015

Great book - both in audio and written. Very interesting backstory of women's soccer and the character development of Sal and Kulti was wonderful. Loved the slow build of their romance. The narrator did a great job on the German accent! I plan to listen and read this book over and over.
