Look I really like Gary Vee. I’ve listened to his other audio books, follow him in Insta, watch his YouTube and I always thought: “man I wish more people were like him.” I’ve been a fan for years! Unfortunately this book has shattered my opinion of him. He talks about real entrepreneurs being pure bred entrepreneurs and its in their DNA. He speaks of people as if they were dogs and that anyone who has had to take a job is not a pure bred entrepreneur. Not once mentioning that conditioning including upbringing by your parents and your own personal conditioning through content consumption, practice, environment, and networking is the main contributor to success for any life style change. Nor does he talk about how this conditioning can and will cause a paradigm shift. This man was raised by parents with a business, he didn’t have parents telling him he should get a safe job. That was the start of his conditioning. Yes according to his story he had a very rough childhood growing and I’m not downplaying that, nor am I speaking about difficulty. Many of us unfortunately had parents forcing the idea of a job down our throat and a lot of us took one to pay the bills and work on our business after work. Especially so when you have children and NEED to provide. I would argue the people doing what it takes and working on their business while supporting their family are entrepreneurs. They have to work so much harder and it’s not fair for someone to sit here on a mic and tell us that we don’t have what it takes in our DNA. Plenty of extremely successful entrepreneurs started out with jobs. It’s a very biased and infuriating view. Almost as if he is looking down on us. Entrepreneurs do what it takes to create something for themselves, they don’t limit themselves to only one type of income source. I was able to overcome introvert tendencies with conditioning and became the best salesmen at my jobs I’ve worked at before venturing off to my own business and any venture or thing you want to improve is no different.

You condition yourself to accomplish what you want and that’s one of the benifits of being a human. Our higher conscience allows us to be what we want to be through practice and conditioning. We are not animals that are pure bred for certain tasks like Gary talks about. That type of thinking is imperialistic. Rich are born to be rich poor are born with poor blood. Or rather as he phrases it, employee blood versus entrepreneur blood. That type of thinking is not healthy and coming from somebody who advocates doing what you love, empathy, caring, etc. I find this to be very hypocritical. I understand part of his persona and the way he presents things is with shock value, but this went too far for me. Gary how dare you sit there and tell me what my DNA is or isn’t. How dare you judge people and at the same time advocate empathy. Some say never meet your heroes…. I can really see now why they say such things and to be honest I’m very disappointed.

(Gary do you really “care”? Do you really advocate self development, doing what you love and empathy? Or are you just taking advantage of peoples kindness and their desire to be loved, treated with respect and acknowledged? You should never trade shock value for humility. Especially so when you advocate humility regularly. Your DNA is no better then mine or anyone else’s, nor is it more capable. You conditioned yourself, your family conditioned you and that’s why your on top. Not because you have something in your blood that I don’t. I seriously doubt you will read this but if you do just understand a huge fan of yours is no longer a fan. )

I’ve seen a lot of people say negative things about this book. Honestly I believe the people saying negative things are not understanding what the author is trying to say or what he is trying to teach you. He is not promoting an entitled lifestyle. On the contrary, he is trying to teach you that you do not have to slave away at a job you hate until you retire. He talks about earning your money and preferably getting a remote job and moving somewhere that can allow you a life style where you can actually enjoy your life, spend time with your kids, do something for the world, enjoy your passions and chase your dreams. Mini retirements to really experience the world! Living in California I feel my life is work, eat and sleep, barely able to see my kids and all my money going to bills. This book showed me that I don’t have to live that way. It will take some time but eventually I can take what money I do have and go somewhere that I can actually LIVE. Working all day all week is not living, seeing your kids grow up each year and not being a there to actually SEE and experience it is not living. This book has opened my eyes to that and gives me hope that one day I will be able to leave this expensive, life draining place and move somewhere that I can be with my family MORE then I work. It’s very exciting and I encourage people to read/listen to this but when they do, read/listen to it with a blank slate and cast aside your ideas about work and working hard just for social credit. This does not make you lazy, it makes you efficient and it allows you to really enjoy life. That is how life is supposed to be for human beings, not inside a cubical or a warehouse for 50 years. We have been lied to, sold the idea of “The American Dream” so we can slave away at a company we hate until we are so old we retire only to use all of your money on medical bills and survival. Life isn’t supposed to be this way! If you are going to work on something work on your passion, use a job as a vehicle to get you far enough to make that passion profitable and enjoy life. Remember that with this new age of the internet, you can build something that you are passionate about and make enough money to live happily! You don’t have to be a multimillionaire unless you want that but don’t lose sight of what really matters! Your family and your happiness. Live a fulfilling, happy life and strive to make a positive difference in this world with the freedom that you earn.

This book is exactly what I needed. I am just starting my programming career and John Sonmez gives some fantastic advice for both people starting and people who are already on that career path. It’s a very well rounded book that provides very valuable information that I believe will help anyone who takes the time to read or listen to it.

This book as such a wonderful message. The laws discussed in this book I believe should be taught to more people at a early age. It also really puts things in perspective when you are trying so hard to accomplish something but feel you are getting nowhere or not as far as you would like to go. We should all practice these laws in every aspect of our life. Another wonderful book for my collection, and one that I will recommend again and again.

I have been a Crypto trader for awhile now and I could not find a single book that actually went into trading strategies. Most of the authors just pack the book with filler information probably found from google searches and describe what cryptocurrency is and it’s benefits over and over in different ways. They then take all this filler info and pack it into a “trading strategies book” or something along those lines to make traders want to buy the book even though said authors never even talk about real strategies or practices and likely don’t even trade.

THIS little gem is not one of those books. This guy knows what he is talking about and the narrator I felt did as well strangely enough. Very fluid performance on the narrators part. I feel he captured every emotion to every sentence perfectly. That is not what made me give this book a high rating though. I gave this book 5 stars because the author actually broke down different trading strategies step by step. He isn’t BSing his way through with filler information. I can tell that this guy actually does trade because I too trade and found a lot of great information in here. I appreciate the authors honesty and appreciate the fact that he went into detail about trading strategies.

I strongly believe that if you want to start trading cryptocurrency that this book is a great way to set you on that path.

Fantastic book and fantastic performance. Well worth every single penny.

I got this book as a trading guide for a crashing market which is what the title made it seem like. I figured I would get strategies for crypto trading in a bear market. instead I got a poorly narrated beginner guide to crypto currency. The book title in my opinion is false advertising and I feel cheated out of my money.

The narrator Tom Davis sounds like he does toy commercials and employee welcoming videos to a new company. He had a fake sounding voice that does not express the words written correctly and makes mistake after mistake. In one sentence he called Satoshi “Shitaki” for crying out loud!! Like the mushroom! How did they even allow this?! The tone he uses for each sentence makes no sense! He uses the same “ Batteries not included ” or “ Welcome to Company XYZ” sounding emotion in every sentence. It’s hard to follow because of this and it makes no sense. Robert Plank was pretty good however. I wish he Narrated throughout the 3 books. He expresses the sentences correctly and is easy to follow.

There is so much repetitive information in this book mainly about the blockchain technology and it’s uses and next to nothing about trading or strategies. A little over an hour of the book in the last segments goes over mining in detail which was very nice but nothing on actual trading and I feel this was false advertising.

This is my first negative review in 12 different books and to be honest I’m extremely disappointed by this one. This is not trading advice or a book on trading, this is information on cryptocurrency and mining and it should be named something along those lines.

This is a fantastic book for beginners or someone who wants to learn the benefits of crypto, its origins, mining and possible future uses and if that is you I recommend it. However, if you bought the book for the reasons I did, based on the title and you are a trader like me already then this book is probably not what you are looking for.

I honestly wish I could get my money back for this as I feel like I was tricked by the title and this book wasn’t exactly cheap.

I Love Robert Kiyosakis style of writing. He breaks down many subjects so it is easy to understand and also keeps you entertained during so. This book really helps mold your views and ideas into a positive and exciting mindset. I have listened to this book and his previous two book and all of them were fantastic. Tim Wheeler does an excellent job narrating these books and I find his voice very easy to listen to.
