Historia
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

Understanding that by remaining idle in the face of evil and overreach means you support evil. That's a call to action like no other.

Historia
One of the best books ever written about Lincoln by Dale Carnegie. Chronicles the inner life and struggles of Abraham Lincoln, how he led a life of poverty, how he went from pauper to become president, how he emerged from obscurity and became the Republican nominee at the 1860 Chicago convention, how he loved to tell humorous stories, and that he was an avid reader of Shakespeare.

Abe Lincoln I wish you were here
Revisado: 03-15-23
Great book. Many truths not taught in school are in this book. Robert E Lee was against slavery and never owned a slave and Ulysses S Grant was a rags-to-riches story whose wife owned slaves. We get brainwashed in America by the left narratives, slavery was a worldwide issue but Abe Lincoln and the Republicans led us out of it.

Eisenhower was a great leader, needed today
Revisado: 01-23-23
Great listen, and very informative. Can you imagine having this guy vs Joe Biden. Eisenhower is an example of how great our country once was before liberals and woke made us broken.

Historia
Leigh Collier has worked hard to build what looks like a normal life. She has a good job as a defense attorney, a daughter doing well in school, and even her divorce is relatively civilized - her life is just as unremarkable as she’d always hoped it would be. But Leigh’s ordinary life masks a childhood that was far from average...a childhood tarnished by secrets, broken by betrayal, and finally torn apart by a devastating act of violence.

Written by a brainwashed liberal who hates men
Revisado: 11-13-21
The author watches to much CNN and MSNBC. Story was ruined by her injection of politics. A mask is not a SCBA. Aids did not lead to racism, etc. I will never purchase a Slaughter book again.

Lots of cursing throughout, other than that, it was good book to listen to. Why do Audible reviews require 15 words?
