Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Absolutely hilarious. I found myself at times outright, smiling, and laughing at what I was listening to.

That one for comical stories I really like progression and plot. And the story certainly has it. What makes the story stand out, though is the level of comedy. There are times that the main character is looking at a new type of alien or creature and he is outright. What the F$&k!? as he tries to describe the monster. But just as much as I love the comedy I can’t wait to see where the story takes me next there’s a side pot with the orcs a side plot with a murdering psycho couple a side plot with Beatrix and a side plot of the company running the show. Not to be confused with the main part I’m just trying to get through the dungeon.

Historia
Reidon Ward will become a god. He doesn't know it yet, of course. Reidon was born weak, sickly, and small. Afflicted with a painful disease and abandoned by his parents because of it, he has had to fight tooth and nail for every minor advantage life has allowed him. However, his perseverance has not gone unnoticed, and when the most powerful artificial intelligence in human history takes an interest in him, things began to change quickly.

Satisfying underpowered MC.
Revisado: 02-17-25
A lot of LitROG features an OP MC, or battles that showcase the MC winning against those much stronger. Rei is not like that. Though he has a unique situation that allows him to grow fast, it doesn’t betray the reality of the world. Like any kid that grew up smaller and weaker, Rei tries to outthink and trick his opponents but even then is not enough to completely close the gap.

Historia
With Fyrion a distant speck behind us and the resources of the Dragon’s Right Eye out of reach, there’s only one place in the system we can go to gather the materials we need to advance to bronze. Ilirian beckons. But dangers lurk in those dark jungles, and the ruins of a civilization long dead house threats the likes of which no amount of training or meditation could’ve prepared us for. It’s advance or fall behind, and with the infinite sea at my back, there’s only one real option.

World Building
Revisado: 01-18-25
I’m slowly getting back into audiobooks and this series was a welcome refresher to why I should. I like to read manga, and there are a lot of series that start with cultivation and the different levels of progression. As a western individual, I find it very hard to sit through as there are so many different levels. The MCs are always focus on getting to the next level. These books strike a very good balance. Still a big development on the main characters, personal cultivation and progression, there is a lot of world building that I suspect will be more focused on than the next book. Xavier’s answer this book was obviously not a lie to the reader. The clash between society classes is escalating. It will be interesting to see how the author weaves the eventual clash and resolution.
Note for the author. There is a stark mirror to our reality between the working class and oligarchs. Your story won’t be complete without a mortal resistance against the MC that is convinced the sects are right and the mortals/MC are wrong. Maybe a group that blames the miners (the ones that protested for their safety) for how the sects currently treat them. Incorporate propaganda.
Thank you for an enjoyable listen.
