Historia
Dark Passages is a coming-of-age story encapsulating the romance and innocence of JFK’s Camelot era and the tumultuous “dark passages” of Meg Harrison, a vampire raised by her mother to resist the temptation of human blood. Meg arrives in New York determined not to use her vampiric gifts to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress. She joins the cast of the cult hit Dark Passages, only to face her nemesis, a beautiful 300-year-old witch bent on destroying her.

Fabulous story and narration
Revisado: 10-12-23
Kathryn Leigh Scott composed a fabulous tale- melding together her time as a NYC playboy bunny, acting as Maggie Evans and Josette du Pres on Dark Shadows, and good old fashion gothic horror. Well worth a listen for fans of any of those and beyond. The author reads it herself and you can appreciate her broad acting range

Historia
What would happen if millions of people around the world suddenly disappeared one day? In this fascinating apocalyptic thriller, best-selling Christian inspirational authors LaHaye and Jenkins pool their considerable talents to answer that question. Narrator Richard Ferrone's unusually deep and hypnotic voice will keep you right in the middle of this not-unimaginable end of the world nightmare.

Atlas Shrugged for Born Again Christians
Revisado: 04-08-23
Like many, I tried this poorly written text because of its past commercial success. I’m a Christian, but definitely not the intended audience. The author’s perspective is so limited that it creates a lot of logical fallacies or just weirdly unexplored areas. If Pastor Bruce wants to teach people about the rapture, why is the attempting to recruit other churches and/or religious people? Were devout Muslims and Hindus raptured? The author did a decent job with a messy text

Historia
After Jason’s world falls apart in LA, he moves to Berkeley for a fresh start with his kid brother. Just one problem: his long-closeted Adderall addiction has exploded into an out-of-control crystal meth binge. Within weeks, Jason plunges into the sprawling ParTy n’ ’Play subculture of the Bay Area’s gay community. It is a wildly decadent scene of drugs, group sex, and criminals, and yet it is also filled with surprising characters, people who are continually subverting Jason’s own presumptions of the stereotypical tweaker.
