Historia
Over twenty years ago, the heiress Patricia Lockwood was abducted during a robbery of her family's estate, then locked inside an isolated cabin for months. Patricia escaped, but so did her captors - and the items stolen from her family were never recovered. Until now. On the Upper West Side, a recluse is found murdered in his penthouse apartment, alongside two objects of note: a stolen Vermeer painting and a leather suitcase bearing the initials WHL3. For the first time in years, the authorities have a lead - with the suitcase and painting both pointing them toward one man.

Great narrator, really good read!
Revisado: 04-02-21
I really like Harlan Coben's books. There is so much intrigue and suspense and this new book does not disappoint! I really like the main character Win, his character is funny and very likable and occasionally cheesy, in a good way. The story line is very interesting and as per Coben's writing style you are sucked into the lives of the characters. The story is fast paced without any lagging moments. If you want a thrilling mystery story with lots of strange twists and turns, this is your book!

But their 16-year-old son, Adam, has been unusually distant lately, and after the suicide of his classmate, Spencer Hill they can't help but worry. They install a sophisticated spy program on Adam's computer, and within days they are jolted by a message from an unknown correspondent addressed to their son: "Just stay quiet and all safe."
Meanwhile, Betsy Hill is struck by a photo that appears to have been taken on the night of her son's death...and he wasn't alone.

This is a ride you will want to get on!
Revisado: 03-29-21
This story jumps right in to multiple stories, so the beginning is a little confusing but then, hold on to your seat! This book sucks you in and takes you down twists and turns and does not disappoint. The narrator is excellent and does a great job changing his voice for each character. I thought I knew the end...until I only knew part of it and was blown away by the ending. Great read, thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend it!

Finally, here's the story of Albert Einstein's life, told in a fun, engaging way that clearly explores the world he lived in and changed.

Good story line
Revisado: 10-07-20
I liked the suspense and twists and turns. I suspected who the killer was early on but didn't know what their motive was but was glad it all was revealed in the end. I think it was well written and I did like having the dual perspectives. I was not a fan of the little girl voice but overall really enjoyed this book.

I really liked this book until close to the end.
Revisado: 05-11-20
This was great thriller in the beginning. I was really caught up in the story and trying to figure out what was going in in this town. Then 3/4 of the way in, I was like...What??? It turns into this Sci-fi fantasy story. the author has a writing style that I really liked for most of the book. But then it was like a whole different story emerged. I did not really like the book's resolution for the characters. Would I read it again...no. But it is definitely an engaging thriller until the end.

One of my all-time favorites!
Revisado: 04-09-20
To Kill A Mockingbird is truly one if my all-time favorite books. I love the story of Jen and Scout growing up in the South in the 1930's. I love their fascination with their recluse neighbor Boo Radley and all their antics to catch a glimpse of him. I also think it is a a snapshot in time of the culture and prejudice in our Country's history, one we should not lose sight of or repeat.
This book is truly a gem and a must read for learners of all ages. It is a story that will bring a smile to your face, make you laugh and cry and hold you in the edge of your seat at times. Take the time to read or listen to this, you won't regret it!
