After a well-deserved bread, KN Banet has provided a wonderful next step in Jacky’s story. Great character development alongside adventure and moving the story forward. Would have liked to see more Carey, but was excited to get to know both Davor and Niko better. Looking forward to the next installment!

This is a great continuation of this story. It pulls in new characters and also sets up the next story well. Breene is a great storyteller and she definitely delivered with this one.

Finally!

I have loved this series since I first read it and have long wanted it to come to life via audiobook! While some of the names are pronounced differently than they were in my head, the storytelling is wonderful and the narrators do a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

I have been waiting for this book since I finished Book 4 and it did not disappoint! Action, intrigue, and a dash of romance. If you like all of that without a 20-something hero, you will love this series! Breene is a great storyteller and draws you into the world she has created easily. Hilarious characters and a real world understanding of overcoming human insecurities while kicking butt and claiming one’s power!
