The idiot God who always needs saving
Revisado: 04-29-25
The MC is just embarrassing. Also I'll say again hes one of the weakest Gods ive ever heard about. Still amazes me how useful and common regular guns are when everyone should have magic abilities. At least make magic guns or something. literally could kill a god with a BB gun to the eye in this wold. Mikes been a complete letdown. How did they take over part of a dungeon and use dungeon abilities without a core? How did the fairy upgrade the exo suit without a dungeon? How do they have a mobile dungeon that's not attached to anything? Initially I thought it would be attached to the vehicle but then they picked it up and moved it. It's just a mess and we have orcs fighting with Dildos. I gave it an honest try but I'm out.

Historia
Corin Cadence has been summoned to meet with the Emerald Council, a political summit including the most powerful of all attuned and their closest political allies. His summons came with a dire warning—that war was coming to the nation of Valia. While Valia is no stranger to warfare, the circumstances of this invasion are dire. Valia's visage, Tenjin, remains missing. Many of the nation's leaders were slain during Mizuchi's attack, and others killed or injured through Saffron's machinations. With a critical power vacuum in Valia's leadership, few can be trusted.

Waited a while for this one
Revisado: 04-23-25
and I would have been better off skipping it. Almost an entire book of politics and social drama. Doesn't even make sense how they are involved in high level politics. Handicapped characters for an entire book is always lame. I think the writer has milked the daddy beat me arc for all that it's worth. That's coming from someone who was also abused as a child. It doesn't feel like these characters are growing really. They all still just seem like kids playing in adult circles. I thought it was finally ramping up in the last book but I guess not. Should have seen it coming when the first few chapters were about licking wounds and being depressed. Definitely get an "i need a safe space" vibe from these characters now.

It's a good thing that Eric finally managed to evolve his class. If he's going to have any hope of rescuing his sister, he'll need every advantage he can get! The Sylvan Alliance's territories have been seized. Her champions slaughtered. A once thriving faction has been reduced to a single battered fortress. If Eric can’t pull off a miracle and succeed where an entire regiment of skilled archers have fallen, then both his sister and all those who march under her banner will be obliterated by the muskets and cannons of their enemies.

A mess
Revisado: 04-22-25
So much for the build up with the mother situation. That really went no where. That whole situation just turned out to be a drag rather than being interesting. Many repeating scenarios even in the same book. First our MC had red hair then suddenly he had blonde hair. Supposedly he couldn't get any more benefits from less than a bronze rank fruit though that turned out to be a lie. Who just hangs out with their sister when their woman and child is being held hostage??? What a lame ending. So much for dominion and will power just to kneel before mommy. With people completely healing every night how is anyone suffering addictions. The whole thing just seems to be poorly thought out. Every time I think it's going in a good direction I'm proven wrong so I think I'm done here.

Eric was as shocked as everyone else when the apocalypse struck, but unlike his mother's movie, there were no chosen heroes destined to fight the beast hordes now overrunning the planet. Just people trying desperately to survive. Yet there was a glimmer of hope that humanity could hold on to. A chosen few really could level up in this brave new world, and embrace magic, adventure, and the potential for limitless power!

Kind of dumb
Revisado: 04-16-25
Did I miss the part about the MC being in the bunker for years after the apocolypse started or what? How does he come out and all these other people are stronger and more knowledgeable than anyone he knows. Plus cities already being set up, masters and all that. I don't understand. Saves his sister just for her to leave him lol. How did the mayor take over the city the MC made? He didn't give the city to that guy... How was the mayor's oath not broken? Supposedly you need to be silver rank to find that city but not even a chapter later some bounty hunters are going to find them there. Just seems like a lot of contradictions. The MC flirting with a taken girl is just weird. The way females are described vs males is weird and annoying but expected. The love story in this series is bound to be painful. Olympian levels isn't as impressive as the writer seems to think it is. Olympian levels of running are not that far from college track levels of running or even high school. The voices are terrible. Constantly repeating stuff. Probably just not for me I guess.....

Historia
When he was first torn from his Earthly home, Victor Sandoval was as good as dead, alone and powerless in a reality where kills equal skills and losing a fight means losing your life. But he's much more than who he used to be. Now a warrior of near-legendary status and strength, Victor is leading his very own army into the Untamed Marches, where countless hordes of horrors await. This means more Energy and treasure for him and his allies when they go up against a slew of undead, reavers, and good old-fashioned bloody vampires.

Has all the potential to be amazing
Revisado: 04-11-25
But ends up being mediocre. The writer just can't stop going on and on with relationship or social drama. So many unanswered questions but instead we get a MC worried about cheating on his woman with his axe. The MC has even said many times "I have thousands of questions but no time" essentially because all the time is spent on relationship drama. Well the readers are also interested in those answers but that's to much to ask. Also what's with capturing an enemy for information, to be constantly hostile and suspicious towards them but no lets not cuff them, collar them or even lock them in a room. The collars just vanished. It's as though everything is just set up for an emotional reaction. Feels forced at times. If it wasn't for the skip button I would have left this series long ago. What ever happened to combining affinities? Our MC stopped exploring his powers long ago. Again so much potential just left in the pen. With how slow it's going I'm starting to think this may be one of those series that doesn't get finished or ends abruptly.

Historia
It feels like a lifetime ago that the irreverent young Victor Sandoval was pulled from Earth into an existence of battle and brutality in a mystifyingly magical world where the more one fights, kills, and survives, the greater their levels, class, skills, and attributes. And right now, things are pretty freaking great for Victor. After causing the usual amount of mayhem elsewhere, he and his warrior-maiden ally, Valla, have finally taken a portal back to Fanwath—loaded up with more powers and treasure than they know what to do with.

What are we on like the 3rd-4th love that couldn't be arch??? It's a drag that's for sure. MC becomes less impressive as we go. How did the MC find a horse in a world that had no horses until he wanted one? Would have been nice to get a better mount to begin with though that's not really important.

Victor has seen better days. He just barely survived a savage showdown with the lethal warrior woman Rellia, which left her minus a foot and apparently cost him the life essence of his trusted magical axe, Lifedrinker. Then, much to Victor's surprise, Rellia asks him to visit her. And she does so not as an enemy but as an honorable opponent who owes him for sparing her life. Rellia wishes Victor's aid in claiming her family's land stake in a dangerous far-off realm. In return, he'll receive his own land and a place among the elite.

Really went off a cliff with this one
Revisado: 04-05-25
1 & 2 were good but this one was kind of lame for the most part. All the slice of life family stuff and the MC catching feelings for almost every female he encounters is a drag. Not sure why every story has to have a love story within nor why its always made into a primary focus. Lost a lot of hope for the series with this release but I'll give the next one a try just incase. Also it's not clear how the old hag talked to the spirit in the item that's bonded to the MC when no one else has been able to talk to the spirit. Not sure why that wouldn't get explained.

Historia
Victor can’t wait to get the hell out of high school, go to the local community college on a sports scholarship, and start his own life. But that’s all put on hold when he enters his abuela’s house and somehow ends up stepping into a world unlike anything he’s ever known, filled with fantastical meta-humans; walking, talking devils; and other creatures one usually needs some serious pharmaceuticals to see. Fanwath is no dream, though. In fact, it’s a nightmare.

Usually I avoid books that are less than 18 hours or so but the first book was free to listen to so I gave it a shot and I enjoyed it. There is room for improvement especially with combat but I don't really have any complaints. Hopefully it just gets better from here.

Revisado: 03-26-25
Not only is the MC dumb but he's also a cry baby. The family dynamic is already a drag and it's only going to get worse. The writing style along with the voice is just cringe at times. MC needs answers to obvious questions while at the same time some how knowing less obvious things based on instinct..... Just couldn't get into it.

Mind Numbingly boring & lame
Revisado: 03-25-25
I stuck around this long thinking it might get good but this MC has to be the most lame divine/God thunder lord in all of the multiverse. Greatest abilities include group meetings and controlling minions. This whole book is essentially one long group pow wow. Mr thunder lords abilities suck so bad he mainly uses a gun just like everyone else lol. Multiple books in and no one's advanced enough not to use guns or to even have interesting gun abilities/skills. The whole story just drags. I'm pretty sure we spent a whole chapter on how the MC hates smoking not to mention the several chapters long debate at the beginning that ultimately turned out to be about raising the height of the walls. "oh no Kelly we don't want to be like that" like what the people with a good wall in the apocalypse??? Now our god has folowers that he can lend power to. My only question is what power does he actually have? none that he really uses. It's just frustrating listening to this series so I'm out.
