Would you consider the audio edition of The Wrong Side of Goodbye to be better than the print version?

I am a multi-tasker and I can't sit down and read a book so I listen instead. Thank Goodness for Audible

What did you like best about this story?

I love how Connelly brings previous individuals from the Bosch series into this current book so you feel you really know know the characters and can really relate.

Have you listened to any of Titus Welliver’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't think I have heard him before but I really liked his performance in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes...

Any additional comments?

Can't wait till the next one comes out.... Hope you are reading this Mr. Connelly... Chop Chop!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Wolves to be better than the print version?

I enjoy the audio version because I multi-task

What did you like best about this story?

I love the John Wells saga's... so well written, believable and engaging because I can get board fast especially when I can figure out the plot from the first chapter. This book took on a very interesting side of the main characters and their humanness.

Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He is the best!! I will listen to almost any author that has George performing.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely

Any additional comments?

I will recommend this audio book to my friends

Hopefully you listened to the first 2 in the series... if not, stop reading this and download them. If you have I to say that this novel was pretty exciting to the end. It is a work of fiction but whatever you believe is going to happen in the last days it makes you think about your destination in the here after.

I am a Rosenberg fan... and have a relationship with Christ, But I could not rate this book as high as I would like to have because I thought it was a tad to much proselytizing which almost made me want to stop listening. It's like pouring too much gravy over mash potato's where you can't hardly taste the potatoes. A Taste is all you need. The rest of the story was fabulous and very engaging especially because of the superb narration by Lee. I do plan on listening to the next book and hope there's less gravy.

I think Burke has been eating a lot of spicy food and having some crazy dreams to think up this story and the previous book. A little far fetched especially when it comes to Cleat daughter being a hitman (or hitwoman) but you have to love the one liners he comes up with for Cleat and Dave. Corny... yes but very funny. I am a fan and if you are already a Robicheaux fan then download this book and enjoy the ride.

The Midnight house wasn't the best in the story in the saga of John Wells. The narration saved it for me. It was pretty easy to figure it out from almost the beginning. What is funny is that the story could be believable. I would not go as far as to say that it's a waste of a credit if you are a Well's fan but just don't get your exceptions to high.

You will be a fan once you listen to this book if you are not already. Differently not a waste of a credit because Dave and Cleat will put you through their wild ride all the way to the end of the book. I found myself sitting the car late for an appointment just wanting to hear the last detail in that story line... Will Patton is the best narrator for JLB audible books. Enjoy!!

First you can't go wrong with George Guidall narrating Silva's books.
This book will be interesting... but a little predictable. So, you if want a spy novel that's not to over the top with blood and violence this is wins.

I don't know if I found the right headline word for a book that didn't excite me or was sad that it had to end. It is a sweet love story of a girl who's mother had planned her life before birth to become just like herself, a famous surgeon... but that's not what happens. The daughter, Liz /Abigail who lacked the love of her mother rebells for the first time at 16 and ends up in a situation of witnessing a Russian mob killing and then is placed in witness protection only to have her protectors killed so she escapes and goes into hiding for the next 12 years. She intrigues the handsome single sheriff of this small town where she's been recluse and they fall in love and then skillfully comes up with a way to expose all those involved with the mob killings... you get the picture.

I try to be objective and expose myself to good writers and all types of generas. I think Roberts is a good writer and if you like simple love stories with a taste of heat then this book will fill that bill!

I am big fan of Sandra Brown and narrator victor Slezak! It's very well written and engaging through to the end. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because I figured out the "who done it" in the very last half of the book. Never the less... the characters are well developed and for the most part believable. I don't feel that it was too overly sexual or brutal. It's a story that will take you on a great ride with a loose seat belt. Enjoy!
