Historia
In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

Absolutely amazing!

I’m pretty sure this is my third read through this amazing series. It just doesn’t get much better than the crossbreeding of Ken Follett and history. Mr. Follett can tell a story better than just about anyone. I consider it a privilege to have access to the result of an amazing man’s talent and imagination. Wow……..Just WOW!

Historia
The year is 1703, and Matthew Corbett, professional "problem solver", is missing. Last seen by his friends in New York before he departed on a lucrative, seemingly straightforward mission for the Herrald Agency in Charles Town, he's been too long absent. His comrade-in-arms Hudson Greathouse has an increasing sense the young friend he thinks of as a son must have met with some unexpected peril.

Another beauty in the Mathew Corbett saga. Every book in the series manages to be an amazing story all its own while continuing to spin off the core story. As someone who loves mystery and action as well as romance and Britain, this series might have been written just for me.
