Shane East as Captain of the Orcs-nuff said!

Funny with a lot of heart

Best narration of Neuhold’s book. Great voices, smooth and believable.

Story starts off with a shocker, especially having met these characters in the first book of the series. I love that Neuhold does not shy away from any story line, no matter how complex it could get. She always ties up everything beautifully, leaving the listener/reader satisfied and wanting more of the rest of the series.

Erotic fantasy will heart and humor

This is one of Turner's best stories. If you read the summary, expect the unexpected. Yes, Tanner and Peaches will heat up your ears with their...shenanigans...but in this short romantic listen you'll laugh and your heart may even break a bit along the way.

Narrators deliver spot on performances.

Narrators make this an excellent listen

I've read and listened to this story and by far prefer the audio version. Meg Sylvan brought this story to life revealing the desperation of our heroine trying to win the approval of her niece, the disapproval of those witnessing it, and the hilarity that ensues while she is so far out of her element. I found myself chuckling through the beginning chapters. Also, Tor Thom's deep rumbling voice narrating the hot intimate scene will have you melting. Initially it doesn't seem Mia and Cyrus work, but the story reveals they are perfect for each other.

Entertaining apocalyptic romance

As the title implies this is certainly an entertaining listen. Daring to tackle an apocalyptic romance in a short listen, but Turner pulls it off. Story moves at the quick pace and the world and characters are interesting. Narrators have great voices and are okay with opposite gender voices. If you are in the mood for a something a little different in an erotic romance this is a great choice.

Her spying had me rolling

The beginning had me rolling with laughter. Then when Emmett finally caught up with our heroine, I melted. Turner's over-the-top alpha stories are always great and even better when she stirs in a bit of fun. Narrators were pretty good. Wish the gentleman had more opportunity to read though.

Intricate story telling at its best

Intricate, emotional story telling that will have you hooked from beginning to end. Should he read in order of the series to understand the family dynamics for full impact of story line. Some of the best dialogue written. The narrator is outstanding at conveying every complicated emotion throughout.

Coming back to life after tragedy

This is a moving love story that will have you laughing, crying, clutching your chest with heartache, and cheering on Sloan and Jason to their happily ever after. Jimenez gets so many situations correct in Sloan's recovery after the loss of her fiancé that it feels real and you'll cry and feel pain along with her. Luckily for us, Jimenez writes swoon-worthy heroes like Jason, who treats Sloan's grief with respect, while managing to woo her along the way. He's friendly, smart, witty, handsome and sexy and loves her completely. My only criticism is his reason for pushing Sloan away seems out of character. He's smart, has a strong familial support system, is an award-winning artist, and seems to have trustworthy representation so I don't understand why he thinks he has no alternative than make the devastating choice he did. Even though it is a significant plot point of the story, it wasn't a significant portion of the story timewise and what came before it was so outstanding that it didn't detract much from the overall rating. Webber and Mallon were outstanding narrating through lengthy exposition and dialogue. Their tones and variation of speed in which they spoke brought out the emotion of the story beautifully.

Excellent story but not a romantic comedy

This is an excellent story, but I would not consider this a romantic comedy. About 3/4 of the way through the book I wasn't sure if I could handle one more obstacle keeping Kristen and Joshua apart and stopped listening for a moment to take a few deep breaths before resuming. Jimenez does an excellent job of wrapping everything up beautifully for our hero and heroine by the end though. Joshua's love for Kristen proves that not all happily-ever-afters have a perfect fairy tale ending as life tends to provide a few bumps and bruises along the way.

Hamilton and Mallon are excellent narrators. They have great voices and deliver both the cheerful and heartbreaking scenes equally well, drawing the reader more deeply into the story.

Over-the-top erotic fantasy includes an 8 am start

Having worked for a Fortune 500 company for many years, one has to make an effort to temporarily suspend reality to enjoy this story. Throw out the window political correctness, zero tolerance harassment, and the Me Too movement while you are at it. This is pure office erotic fantasy and it's a great escape for couple of hours.

Also includes a good match of narrators for an 18-year old personal assistant and older CEO. Both perform voices of opposite gender nicely.
