Historia
The small weak League of Losers has truly lived up to its name—after all, it managed to make a slew of powerful, very dangerous enemies right from the start. It is now time for Sergeant and Whiskers, his ginger kitten, to leave the sandbox for the big world. The players have leveled up enough to pass through the barrier enclosing the sandbox, but, as luck would have it, it isn't the best time to make their escape. A bitterly cold winter is drawing near, and nobody is ready for it.

A fun continuation
Revisado: 10-09-23
I really loved the first two books and this is still really good. I feel like by the end, I am still curious how the characters develop from here but I am less sure how the story might progress from its ending point. It could be the end of the story where he leaves it but did not seem to wrap up either.

Historia
Once the Sith order teemed with followers. But their rivalries divided them in endless battles for supremacy - until one dark lord at last united the Sith in the quest to enslave the galaxy and exterminate the Jedi. Yet it would fall to another, far more powerful than the entire Brotherhood of Darkness, to ultimately realize the full potential of the Sith, and wield the awesome power of the dark side as never before.

good not great
Revisado: 12-19-20
I am mostly comparing to the darth plagueis book. darth bane has a good story but feels lazy in some areas. for instance, he supposedly gains his power over his comrades by studying history in the library, but the only instance of knowledge he ever seems to discover is what becomes the rule of 2. id like to hear more about the philosophy of ancient sith such as we see from darth plagueis.
the other disappointment comes from the way he destroys the sith, the "thought bomb" i laughed out loud when he first said it. it seemed a convenient plot point to accomplish the most interesting part of banes story...how he took power above all the sith...

best star wars book
Revisado: 08-12-19
philosophy, business and politics are just some of the ideas that are well discussed. This book gives all the star wars movies a deeper meaning and makes me enjoy them that much more. especially episode 1

It's the I-Ching of conflict, the contemporary companion to Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and is abundantly illustrated with examples from history, including the folly and genius of everyone from Napoleon to Margaret Thatcher, Hannibal to Ulysses S. Grant, movie moguls to samurai swordsmen.

very practical and relevant to today's world
Revisado: 03-25-19
At first I was very interested in the historical stories but did not feel like the theories or strategies were applicable to my life.
however as the author progresses to some more advanced ideas I started to recognize the similarities. The chapter on passive aggression was particularly helpful.
