Historia
A great primal power has risen. The Queen of Flesh and Fire has become the Primal of Blood and Bone—the true Primal of Life and Death. And the battle Casteel, Poppy, and their allies have been fighting has only just begun. Gods are awakening across Iliseeum and the mortal realm, readying for the war to come. But when Poppy falls into stasis, Cas faces the very real possibility that the dire, unexpected consequences of what she is becoming could take her away from him.

No pay off
Revisado: 05-13-24
Predictable because the story was already written once. The “different” POV was not enough to provide any significantly interesting new information. It’s an entire book of filler. The level of disappointment is proportionate to how much I enjoyed the first books. I kept waiting for the story to pick up and some reviews suggest there’s a cliff hanger at the end but I refuse to suffer the dissatisfaction of a cliff hanger after so much nothing.

This audiobook will help you understand why you have been losing focus. It was written in a light manner to help you better grasp the reasons for lack of focus in your life. There are no complex theories and concepts to comprehend.

Not even good enough to be snake oil
Revisado: 02-07-23
Couldn’t make it past the assertion that your failures are due to a lack of faith and it doesn’t matter what you believe in as long as you believe in SOMETHING greater than yourself because “it will always have your back” and “that’s the reason you’re here”. I’m not criticizing belief in things… I’m criticizing the promotion of the idea that you are given proof of purpose and meaning just by believing it. That’s just a commitment to playing pretend.
Nothing with that kind of circular logic can be of use to me.

Historia
It's 1957, long before computers have replaced the skillful eye and hand, and our narrator at State U is determined to major in Art. After several false starts, he ends up by accident in a new class called "Introduction to Graphic Design," taught by the enigmatic professor Winter Sorbeck - equal parts genius, seducer, and sadist. Sorbeck is a bitter yet fascinating man whose assignments hurl his charges through a gauntlet of humiliation and heartache, shame and triumph, ego-bashing and enlightenment.

Good book horrible narration
Revisado: 07-25-21
The voicing of any female character is borderline insulting. I read this book years ago finding it memorable for the Himillsy character in particular but this narration makes her sound ridiculous.
