Historia
Heiress to the red rose of Lancaster, Margaret Beaufort never surrenders her belief that her house is the true ruler of England and that she has a great destiny before her. Her ambitions are disappointed when her sainted cousin Henry VI fails to recognize her as a kindred spirit, and she is even more dismayed when he sinks into madness.

Another hit from Phillipa Gregory!

As always, the storyline was amazing. I did struggle with the narrators switching off. I liked the female narrator; however, did not care for the male narrator at all.

Historia
It's the late 1960's in Keeneston and life is very tense for everyone. War consumes the news and young men prepare themselves for the draft. Jake Davies is fresh out of high school and head-over-heels in love. He’s known she's the one since she hit him in the head with a cheese ball, but then his world crashes around him when his number is drawn in the draft. Marcy Faulkner's home life has caused her a lot of grief. Her sheltered life is quickly turned upside down after a night in a jail cell with the very handsome Jake Davies.

Fantastic!
Revisado: 07-28-16
The Bluegrass books by Kathleen Brooks are definitely some of my all-time favorites! Bluegrass Dawn is no exception. Ms. Brooks takes us back to when Jake and Marcie are teenagers and it was such a pleasure to hear their story, which included all of my favorite characters from previous books I have read, only they are much younger!
The narrator did a wonderful job of switching between characters, both male and female, which is often my least favorite part of audiobooks.
I can't wait to listen to more from this author and narrator!
