I don’t normally read books like these but had seen this on audible and its title resonated. I’m so glad I picked this up, a good, simple and helpful overview of the tactics you can use to help manage your own budgets and reach whatever your goals might be.

Clear and practical

I am trying to find ways to deal with my anxiety and depression and all the rest, now that I am (once again, and for the final time I think) coming off another failed attempt to go on antidepressants. Mindfulness and meditation have been helping a great deal, though it is still early days for me, and I have to undo a lot of prejudice on my part with respect to the “new age” and “self help” baggage that comes with it. This book was a perfect example of the kind of thing I am looking for. Clear, practical, and written from a position of experience and hard-won insight. Includes simple exercises that are very helpful for a beginner like me. Highly recommended

straightforward and solution-focused

I have read quite a lot of books about productivity, how to stop procrastinating, getting things done etc. But this is the first time I was actually enticed to follow some of the recommended actions, as they were straightforward, easy to comprehend and solution-focussed. Obviously a lot of these books are just common sense collections of dealing with stuff, this one no exception. But while most are often too theoretical or analytical this one actually gives actionable advice.

I think this is a great read for those who are just off-track in their lives; a great way to kind of evaluate your life as a whole. If you notice a lack of energy and wellbeing, this book does a great job of giving you steps to facilitate that change.

This is a non-fiction book about adopting a minimalist lifestyle and I loved it.
Years ago when I was in my twenties I picked up a suitcase, placed a few items of clothing and moved very far away. Since then, I have tried to live with the bare essentials and that is why the concept of a minimalist living resonates with me.
The book introduces the basics and serves as a guide to those who want to declutter their homes as well as their digital environments (i.e. unsubscribe from all those marketing emails and newsletters). it also includes organizing and self-care tips.
Overall, I highly recommend it to those who are looking into decluttering and living more organized.
