Historia
One of America’s finest historians shows us how Bob Dylan, one of the country’s greatest and most enduring artists, still surprises and moves us after all these years. Growing up in Greenwich Village, Sean Wilentz discovered the music of Bob Dylan as a young teenager; almost half a century later, he revisits Dylan’s work with the skills of an eminent American historian as well as the passion of a fan.

Don't expect much
Revisado: 09-21-10
I don't know what I was expecting, but this book didn't provide it. It "reads" like a thesis read by the writer (he is an Ivy League professer after all) A few interesting tidbits floating in a sea of "facts." The writer states his opinions like facts even though there is no evidence that he ever met Dylan. His "facts" are either his pretentious opinion or somebody else's. Dylan may be this obtuse, but it seems that the writer is mainly trying to show-off his "knowledge." I could never get engaged as there is really no story.

Historia
Jason Bourne, international assassin of deadly repute, was an identity assumed by covert agent David Webb. Retired from the CIA and now a professor at Georgetown University, Webb's life is finally his own—until he becomes the target of an assassin and is framed for the murder of his two closest associates. Fighting for his life against unseen assailants, the Bourne identity asserts itself, leaving Jason Bourne in control. Barely a half-step ahead of his nemesis and the CIA, who believes he has gone rogue, Bourne finds himself a pawn in a larger, far deadlier game.

Really bad
Revisado: 06-05-08
Too bad that the stars don't go negative.
The plot was dumb, the situations absurd. It has been said that the difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense. In this case it isn't fiction but cartoon. In cartoons, the characters can do anything, like fall from a jet cargo plane just before take-off(the speed would be over 120mph)onto the tarmac, then the next thing you know, the character appears, completely unhurt in another scene.
His adversary is watching him every step of the way, yet he has time to fashion a net of vines and trap the hapless antagonist - who, of course, gets away quickly and easily.
The story contains one silly episode after another. I only got to disc 6 and got that far only because it was the only book I brought on the trip. I can't bring myself to waste time finishing it.

Don't waste your time
Revisado: 05-24-07
Sorry but this Baldacci wasn't worth the time. I got through the third disc and had to quit. The reading was mediocre, the plot and characters seemed contrived and uninteresting. I haven't quit a book in the middle in years and I listen an hour+ every day while driving. I actually began to fall asleep. I hope he improves, I've enjoyed others from Baldacci thay's why I purchased this one.
