Another phenomenal book by the talented Stephanie Land. Tears stream down my face as I process the final words of your book. You are an inspiration, a survivor, and a thriver, and I am elated for the success you've had with Maid; Maid, the Netflix Series, Class, your in-demand speaking engagements, the gifts of your rich, full, personal life and what might be next. Perhaps another Netflix series?

Loved it! While I didn't have any expectations when I started the book, it far exceeded any thoughts I had prior to picking it up. Harry wrote a very generous memoir rich with depth, sensitivity, wit, insight, introspection, passion, and SO much more. This is hands-down my favorite book to date. I hope and pray that Harry and Megan will have a life of peace going forward. To be scapegoated, betrayed, not seen, not heard, and not valued by family is one of the deepest most heartbreaking betrayals. Harry has SO many gifts to share. I have SO much respect for him and his courage in using his platform to broach the subject of mental illness and shine a light of hope for all those that struggle. I could write so much more. I am looking forward to listening to the Audible version of the book one more time. Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Matthew's memoir is a heartbreaking and harrowing account of the depths addiction will take a human being. That he is still alive is an absolute miracle. As a fellow alcoholic and addict in recovery, I devoured his book in two days. I truly pray recovery will continue to come first in his life. It was clear from listening to him narrate his beautiful memoir that he has so many gifts to continue offering the world. I'm rooting for you!

Minnie Driver has always been one of my favorite actors. When her memoir popped up in my Audible queue, I couldn't wait to listen to it. One of the reasons I love memoirs - and, especially those of my favorite actors, is that a memoir strips away the Hollywood veneer and gets to the heart of who a person truly is. Fierce, sharp, smart, quick-witted, authentic, a non-conformist, hilarious and clever, I simply could not put the book down. I devoured it in an afternoon and am looking forward to hearing it again as there are pearls of wisdom germane to my own life that I am keen to reflect on. Minnie's narration made each vignette come alive, especially as she fell into character mimicking the voices/accents of others. I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!

This is my favorite new book. I love that Valerie narrated her own memoir. Not all authors do. Her cheerful, calm, easygoing voice felt like a delicious conversation. Her authenticity felt like a warm hug. I've been a huge fan since I was a teenager. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and weight my entire life, everything she shared resonated with me. Her insight, wisdom and perspective was so powerful that I actually took notes. I, too, want to flip the script in my head and acknowledge all of the positive ways my body shows up for me regardless of the number on the scale. There is so much more I could comment on, but the aforementioned were some of the most powerful takeaways for me. I plan on listening to this book again.

Exceptionally well-written. As an artist, I often listen to Audible books while working. I was so pleasantly surprised that Katie narrated her memoir as it added another layer of depth to her story, which was so interesting, clever, insightful, witty, sad and much, much more. I devoured her book within a few days.

I listened to Demi's memoir in one day. I was captivated from the first chapter. Her narration added to the depth, richness, and authenticity of the intimate portrayal of her life. Demi's memoir is powerful, heartbreaking, triumphant and so much more. Her story is a stark reminder not to judge someone by outward appearances. I highly recommend this book.

I always glean so much more from a memoir when the author narrates their own work. As a trauma survivor, I was both haunted by Darrell's story and in awe of his ability to get back up time and time again. That he found his way to Dr. Nabil Kotbi was miraculous. I truly hope Darrell's story reaches and educates psychiatric profressionals who are lagging behind and incorrectly diagnosing trauma survivors. As a fan of Dr. Bessel van der kolk's work, seeing clips of him in Darrell's documentary rooted me in the story even more. I devoured this book. I laughed, cried, and cheered. I thank Darrell for his generosity in not only telling his story, but for the extra good stuff at the end. Namaste.
