I enjoyed the story and the cameo of a character from another book by this author. That was surprising.

Book Two: Werewolves

I enjoyed the second book in this trilogy. While the first focused on vampires, this one allowed the werewolves to step up and show us what they're all about.
Just as they did in the first book, I loved the stories for Randall and corpse boy. They'll forever be my favorites!
Regarding the narration, a few characters spoke very slowly and sounded robotic, which took me out of the story at times. One example would be Antony. He might not have had as big a role in this book, but he didn't sound like the old, wise leader of this group that he did in the first book.
Overall a good story that nicely sets up what's about to happen in the third and final book. Can't wait!

Left Me Wanting More

I enjoyed this story. The characters all have their own struggles and demons to overcome. I'd have to say Randall and the corpse boy are my favorite characters! This is book one of a trilogy and I've already purchased book 2 on audible. I'm excited to continue the journey with this bunch of supernatural beings. The narrator was good and able to showcase each character with their own voice and personality.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and this is an honest review with my thoughts.

At the beginning of the story, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. That didn't last long once the story got moving and the investigation began. Well done and interesting concept! I liked the narrator as well. He was great with the different character voices.
