I really liked the book I just wasn’t really into the narrator. Overall it was a pretty good book. I recommend this to kids and teens.

I absolutely love this book so much all of them are awesome! I have watched the show and read the books and all of them are fantastic! I definitely recommend it! But if you are under 13 definitely ask your parents they do say the f word and use some language that’s not very appropriate but overall amazing!

Contradicts himself throughout the book

For someone saying he’s trying to eliminate diet confusion, he definitely missed the mark. Paleo + Vegan sounds intriguing and makes sense if you’re talking about a more plant focused version of Paleo. However, he advocates eating beans, rice, grains, etc, which is the complete antithesis of the foundations of paleo, which is that grains, rice, beans are bad for gut health. Later on, he says black rice is his favorite, but you should only eat it occasionally in small amounts...same with quinoa. then later in the book He says that he batch prepares a large amount of brown rice (not black) and quinoa each week to food prep. If you’re only supposed to eat a little once in a while, why are you making it in bulk? In the end, his “Pegan” idea is basically just a rebranded version of “The Maker’s Diet” from years ago, and much more self-contradicting.
