Highly recommended as enjoyable introduction to the myths or as entertaining take on the myths for those who are familiar with the sources

Historia
In this ground-breaking audiobook, Ian Mortimer portrays Henry in the pivotal year of his reign. Recording the dramatic events of 1415, he offers the fullest, most precise and least romanticised view we have of Henry and what he did. At the centre of the narrative is the campaign which culminated in the battle of Agincourt: a slaughter ground intended not to advance England’s interests directly but to demonstrate God’s approval of Henry’s royal authority on both sides of the Channel.

Book was good - narrator dreadful dreadful dreadful!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE HIM AGAIN FOR ANY WORKS IN ENGLISH
Revisado: 12-19-21
Content of book very good and very informative. Exactly what I was looking for to increase my knowledge base. But, my goodness, would you find readers of audiobooks who can actually speak English?!!!! I understand difference between English and American, but surely, surely, the reader of a history work could pronounce basic words like duchy correctly as well as place and people names! So that it is easier to actually follow the narrative

While contents are fine, would have been better if an English first language speaker had read it
