Was t sure I was going to like this classic as much as I did, especially for being so long, but I loved it! The writing is superb! They just don’t write like this anymore. It’s so long because there is so much detail that you can place yourself in the story. The noir mysteries are still some of the best!

She’s done it again! Kiersten Modglin has written another book that I just could put down. I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. I Love psychological thrillers, and it takes a really good one to keep me on the edge of my seat. While I don’t consider this a psychological thriller per se, it did keep me guessing until the end, with all its nuanced twists.
