Amazing book about an amazing woman with an amazing performance

This may be my new favorite book. Ms. Moore expertly tells the incredible story of Elizabeth Packard, taking the listener on Elizabeth's journey with all of its highs and lows...all while letting Elizabeth's words shine. I'm so thankful I stumbled upon this!!

reads well as an audiobook

Since the story centers on a podcast, this book is probably best read as an audiobook. The story is a bit soap opera-esque, but that's why I chose it. I need these kinds of reads while I'm cleaning, etc. The cast is great. The story draws you in quickly and is really engaging. I just finished a ton of chores because I was so engrossed in the book! I can't wait to read more of Lisa's books.

Just an Awesome Listen

I adore these guys! They find the wildest stories, tell them in compelling ways, and crack me up the entire time. I listen while I'm working, driving, or doing mundane crap around the house. They always bring the fun, I always end up learning something, and i don't think they get enough credit for being empathetic and all around good guys. I'm really hoping to see them when they come to Cleveland next year!

The narrator is a bit flat for such a thrilling book. but the book is so good that you get lost in it and his more monotone performances don't matter as much.

It's a good book, as it kept me entertained. The narrator is easy to listen to. I'm glad it was included; not sure I would buy it because I'm not sure I would want to listen again. It's a great beach read!

I love this book!

This is such an inspiring book! I love that Catherine narrated this herself. I'm typically very slow at listening to audiobooks, but I finished this in 3 days. If you are considering going sober, or simply cutting back on alcohol, you need to read this. I learned so much and am so motivated now!

A wonderful rendition of a childhood favorite

This has been such a comfort during these difficult times! I will listen to this often. I loved Little Women when I was growing up. The cast is wonderful and the dramatization brings this beautiful tale to life. Not only am I transported to the March home when I listen, but I am also taken back to my childhood when I would read this in my bedroom, longing to be a March sister, and when my friends and I would play Little Women at recess. simply the best.

Interesting insights

I'm so glad I finally sat down to finish this book. It is well written and well performed. I love the authenticity that comes with the Dianne performing her own work. I appreciate her honesty and openness. She provides interesting insights into what it was like being so close to Manson. Well worth the several hours it take to listen to this book!!
