Wow... just wow

I, like many others I'm sure, picked this book up due to Taika Waititi's adaptation "Jojo Rabbit." Without spoiling anything, this book is incredibly well written with the ability to make you feel loathing and sadness for a certain character. Tonally, as well as other aspects, this is not the same story as the movie. It certainly kept me interested, as Christine Linens puts together a story that you want to end, but don't want to step away from. Well done.

Couldn't get through it

I did my best to give this book a chance because of the rave reviews I had been hearing, however the seemingly stream of consciousness style is not for me. Also shortly into the first story or so McConaughey justifies extreme domestic violence as "that's how they loved each other." No, what you just described is a felony accompanied by a protective order in most states.

Loved it!

I've become a huge fan Jordan Peterson in recent past and picked up this book as soon as I heard he had written it. this book proves that everyone has even a little bit to learn regardless of your status in life. The descriptions in some of the sections become a little slow at times but, overall I am extremely pleased.
