I love this book and will listen again. Lately I've rarely purchased any new books as I feel no satisfaction anymore. I decided to try this book as I read the previous ones in the series. I'm glad I did. I laughed so much that I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a little surprise near the end too.

I have not enjoyed a book in such a long time. This was a wonderful addition. The story, the characters I definitely enjoyed. It was well narrated too. After listening to book 1 I added this to my wish list and I wasn't disappointed. The kids certainly added the entertainment.

I would recommend this book.

I am a Lora Leigh fan and I heave read or listened to most of her books. I enjoyed this book for the most part. I liked that Emma Jane was no push-over. She held her ground and was never the helpless female waiting on a man to do everything or dictate what needs to be done. Also, she held strong to her principles, despite the strong attraction, while her divorce was being finalized, she resisted what could have been called infidelity. When they did meet again, no games. I liked the honesty and the chemistry between them. Of course, it would not be a Lora Leigh book without some back door action. That is so predictable, and of course the phrase "… it is so good...". I can just hear Brianna Bronte's voice screaming that out in every one of her books that I have listened. Regardless, liked the characters and was happy to hear some past favorite ones included, It is just that when it ended it felt so unfinished that I was expecting more. I had to listen to the last chapter again to be sure I did not miss out on something.
I felt that the book ended with so many unanswered questions such as the involvement of her ex-husband and his family, how far did that go, were the parents innocent bystanders or was Emma Jane's ex-mother-in-law just an innocent caught up in the situation that lead to her being kidnapped. What happened to Sabrina after that incident, will Ilya choose to live in Emma Jane's beloved home or will they choose to live somewhere more secure? How was Nick after the hospital, and a few more questions.
I look forward to the next in the series and hopefully some answers to my unanswered questions still buzzing in my mind.

I have loved this series so much that some of them I have listened to at least twice. This book that I looked forward to reading or listening …. well. Seth....like the father of them, all so to speak.. We have seen another side of him never before seen or suspected existed. He dances and seems to love it too! He laughed, real laughter! We have always seen him with too much burden on his shoulders and the responsibility, no rest, well not much. In this book, he has found love and emotions like jealousy,, he actually seemed more human in some aspects. His love, Leah, I like her but I felt that we should have seen her more in action. There was mentioned of how much training her family gave her in order to protect herself just in case. Aside from the one encounter with Tessa and the vampires we did not get to see her much in action to display those talents especially with a partner like Seth I would have thought he would get a kick ass female. She may have been that but it was not displayed. Oh this book was full of humor, so much, I loved so much. I will not mention them because I do not want to give away any spoilers. As for Gersham, man, I was hoping for a dreadful death for him, what he got, to me, was not enough, after all the deaths and destruction he caused. Most memorable moment, is what happened with Seth when he went rescue the Gifted Ones and the eventual capture of Gersham. Even David cried... The book ended with me screaming in the office. I was listening to the audiobook and the way it ended had me screaming out noooooooooooo in the office, my coworkers had to ask me what was wrong. I am not used to Dianne leaving us in suspension like this. The last few chapters had left me wondering whether after Seth's story the rest would not be so interesting but the last chapter or epilogue, the suspense had me eager to know more. Well done Dianne, but not for the rest of us who cannot wait. The suspense has me eager to find out more. Another Alien....mmmmm, and another half alien baby?

I chose this book because of the author.
I'm always on the lookout for new books written by her . However, the beginning of this book was a serious turn off mostly because I'm not into the bow before me or the kneeling and whipping and all of that especially as the prelude to a relationship.
The rest of the story worked out. The drama at the end, the unexpected news of paternity in the royal family, etc. these help to build the story even though the most interesting parts were at the end.
I continued reading because I've always liked her previous books especially the 'This Man' series .
This book will not be on my read/listen again list But I look forward to the next book in the series.

I loved it, immensely. I had misgivings about spending my money on it after reading some bad reviews which were disappointing. Boy, was I wrong. So were those reviews in my mind. At first, my thoughts were that they are so young. However as the story emerges and I saw the level of maturity that did not matter. The story in some parts reminded me of the his parents story which I loved. But this was so captivating and fun to listen to. It was also touching when he was battling his bout with Bi-polar in the hospital. But the fact that his girl stepped up to help him through it even though he did not want her to see him like that was encouraging. Lana's love, loyalty and devotion to her family was also admirable. She gave her all to help her ailing father's dream come through. She withstood her brothers teasing and just about help in all areas without any thought for herself. The appearance of Remy, and the brief glimpses of their friends, umm, what can I say, I loved those characters. Katy Evans do not fail in giving us likeable and memorable characters. Let's not forget to comment on the narrators. Grace Grant is a regular with Katy Evans books and I have gotten used to her style of narration. She still does a wonderful job. Sebastian York is also a regular, even though I have gotten tired of his voice in so many books, he still does a great job. He is powerful at portraying his characters. Racer was fantastic, the rides, the characters, and the story itself. At the end, I felt like I was in stands cheering him on at the finals in Abu Dhabi. I felt like I could imagine myself screaming with the fans and cheering on Racer. I could not stop smiling, and that's how I like my happy endings. :) Money well spent.

Malpas knows how to write a memorable story whether you liked it or not.

I started with her "This Man" series and always looked for her books since. In her stories, there are times when you want to scream in frustration at the main characters. Moments of laughter, sympathy, heck, possible tears, but at the end of all the various emotions, I can say it was worth it.

I would recommend this book and I can say my money was well spent. I have not felt that way about any book in a few months now.

This book is about being caught between a rock and a hard place emotionally and socially, in this case, being in love with a married man when you shouldn't be involved to begin with but the connection is already tightly woven. You want to walk away but .....
Find out for yourself.

Well when I first started listening to this, I said to myself, after waiting two years or thereabouts for this it had better be good.

I'm happy to say that it was well worth my money and I cannot wait for the next in the series.

The family dynamics , the loyalty, and honor, some humor and of course lots of action are all things which we look forward to.

I would listen to this again.

Oh Lora,
This is the best book you've written in a long time. Just when I was getting bored with the series, then I got a whole lot of suspense and anticipation, and more to look for, the whole works. I look forward to what's next .
I loved the partnership with the bengal brothers. I loved the independence and fighting nature of the females, no pushovers.
Brianna Bronte narrates very well as usual. She always manage to capture and hold my interest.
Worth my money.

It was worth every money / credit I paid.
The sound effects of the story, the voices of the narrators, the development of the story, right down to the conclusion, everything.
Even though there were several narrators it was not like some books where you have 2 narrators and for example, the male reading one chapter and then the female reading another chapter with the same characters and then the voices are just different which is so displeasing to me. This was just right.
I would definitely listen to this book again. The only problem I had was the long pauses.
