This is my 2nd listen of Dr. Sleep! The last time was when it first came to audio. Although I remembered the basics I picked up on details I I’d missed or had forgotten? Either way, this was a fantastic listening of one of my favorites! I’m able to listen daily while working from my desk so I’m well over 200 listens to date! Thanks to Stephen King, Will Patton & all involved in making this book & audio production so great! Even the 2nd time for me!

Loved Marcus History & Trilogy!

I’ve listened to the All Souls Trilogy two times so far! It was great the first time & better the second! There lies the problem! I was so used to everyone’s voice, there wasn’t a need to have their names stated explaining who said what! Ms Maarleveld was a very good narrator but......! It was great to hear more background & information after The Book of Life! I’ll be a devoted fan no matter what & I believe there’s room for more fantastic books from Deborah Harkness on the history & events to come with this series! Thank You Deborah!

My Favorites!

This is my 2nd time listening to Deborah Harkness trilogy read by Jennifer Ikeda! I love this trilogy & the performance by Jennifer! It’s been a few years, actually since The Book of Life was released & I’m enjoying it as much if not more this time as the first! I’m listening while I work so I’m guessing that’s why I’m picking up on more this time? It spans so many subjects that it’s never boring! On to The Book of Life! I believe this will not be the last I listen to this fantastic trilogy! Thanks Again!

Love Good Box Sets!

It took me a few chapters to appreciate the main character’s arrogance/attitude! After I got into this guy & the story he became hilarious at times! I enjoyed this listen! Box sets are such a great value & the length allows you to get to know a number of characters! I only wished the last book would have been narrated by the same as the first 4! They came close to the original Ren & I did become used to the change.

After 10 Minutes

I couldn’t continue listening. The narrator had a sweet child like voice & I didn’t feel I could get into any type of suspense or intensity. I stopped listening after 10 minutes.

Super Jack

I enjoyed the action but being a Marine & my MOS being being Military Police made me think Jack should be a cross between Superman, A Sniper that only used a hand gun & the guy to win $100,000,000 every time he played. Entertaining but I’ll stick to the screen adaptions.

Feel Good

I’d put off this book for it being under the length I’ve set for myself to purchase. Now I’m doomed for shorter listens! This had all the marks I wish for when starting a new book! As in a great story line, mystery, surprises, action, good vs evil & a feel good! I’d go for the series if!?

I enjoyed this book immensely! It felt like I knew the characters! It wasn’t a horror story in the sense of being stressed but a great story line & fantastic narrator! I felt I got my money’s worth!

Fantastic!

I listened to The Talisman a few years ago & was more than pleasantly surprised by the continuation in Black House! I thoroughly enjoyed both books but my only wish would be another collaboration between these two authors! A trilogy of Jack Sawyer or something totally new but, Frank Muller is a must in my wish! Fantastic listen! Thanks guys!

Enjoyed

I enjoyed this story & I’ve enjoyed Sean Runnette’s reading! Sean is why the original book caught my attention! The only issue I have is that at least the last two possibly three books could have easily been sold as one! I purchase credits plus I listen from 4-6 hours daily during week days. 2-3 eight hour books seemed more costly than I thought it warranted. For that reason, I’ll not purchase the last book in this series. Jim
