They fell into the trap of a madman and the horde is closing in even as the town burns around them. Meanwhile, Hero is dealing with his contraction of what is known as the Tempest Strain, a virus capable of infecting any mammal. He knows that if the virus gets out, it could threaten every species on the planet, and he's ready to make the ultimate sacrifice if he has to.

What???
Revisado: 12-26-16
As the 7th book in this series, I expected to love this as much as I've loved the first 6 books. Sadly, this is not the case. Jumping around constantly, & I'm left with feeling perplexed & confused. What just happened?

Predictable
Revisado: 10-14-16
Too predictable! No surprises, if you've ever read anything before by this author. I listened until the end, but I became bored about 1/2 way through. The narrator does fine with male characters, but his interpretation of the women characters is odd. Whining, drawled out words; very distracting to listen to! I expected better.

Historia
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

First HP experience!
Revisado: 11-28-15
I've been behind everyone else, and have had no exposure to Harry. Sure, I bought all of the hard cover books, but they've gathered dust! With the series available on Audible, I had to use some "free" credits and go for it. Just finished number 1, and thoroughly enjoyed it! At last, I can say that I'm reading the HP series!
