After all this time?
Revisado: 06-29-17
I have read these books several times and, yet, I am always (see what I did there?) finding new details and bits that I've never noticed before. JK is a genius and I LOVE the reader!

Lots of people
Revisado: 06-01-17
There are a lot of people in the story and a lot of characters, so it can be a lot to keep up with. That being said, I enjoyed the story and it has movement and life in color and I highly recommend it!

Book too long
Revisado: 03-25-17
It's not that I hated this book, it's just that it was waaaaaaaaaaaay too long. The last hour or so was exciting. The rest of it made me want to go to sleep. Very slow moving and really not very interesting.

I did not enjoy this book
Revisado: 01-19-17
I don't feel there was anything wrong with the performance, but the story itself was awful. Also, the author seems to have swallowed a thesaurus. I would not recommend this title.

No tone
Revisado: 10-29-16
The narrator on this one seems more interested in talking fast than having any kind of tone or emotion. I mean it's inexpensive and told the story, but I was disappointed.

Historia
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.

Slow start, good story
Revisado: 08-20-16
I have meant to read this story for ages but every time I would start, I would lose interest and stop reading. This time, I got past my usual stopping point and I'm glad I did-for I very much enjoyed the story and got rather caught up-wanted to punch a few characters in the face (but I didn't). Definitely recommended!
