Amazing story and performance!
Revisado: 09-26-24
This book is fantastic. The writing flows so incredibly well. The suspense keeps you turning the pages.
But also, while I read, I listened to the audiobook. The narration is a lesson in audiobook narration. I don’t know what else to say. I felt enveloped in this world through the narrator’s performance!

Modern Leader
Revisado: 09-15-22
JeVon McCormick is a Modern Leader. He does a fantastic job calling out the “old playbook” and the problems that come with using it.
He shows that there is a different way, a better way to do things. What if we looked at people for who they are and not what their resume said or what connections they had? What if business put people first, instead of profits? What if we just did the right thing?
And Dion Graham does an impeccable job lending his voice to this story. His voice pulls you in and he makes sure the words really sink in. He sounds professional and also engaging.

Wow!
Revisado: 09-15-21
Gail did a phenomenal capturing the emotion of Maddie as she made her way through her struggles and triumphs. The voices Gail created for the other characters are distinct and believable. The story itself is really well written and I believe that what we have here is an example of the magic that is created when a great writer is paired with a great narrator!

Excellent
Revisado: 05-31-21
Dean Karnazes is an ultra marathon runner and a fantastic writer. His writing is light, touched with a hint of humor and drizzled with sarcasm. With that, he is incredibly descriptive and pulls you into the experience, as though you can see it and feel it.
Andrew Eiden is following his heart and staying in the pocket as he brings Dean’s words to the realm of audio. He knows how to deliver. What else can I say?
This book is a freakin joy to listen to!

Historia
While the notion that “happiness can found within oneself” has recently become popular, Buddhism has taught for thousands of years that every person is a Buddha, or enlightened being, and has the potential for true and lasting happiness. Through real-life examples, the authors explain how adopting this outlook has positive effects on one’s health, relationships, and career and gives new insights into world environmental concerns, peace issues, and other major social problems.

Meditate folks!
Revisado: 05-16-21
Another book that emphasizes the importance of meditation and explains and explores the multitude of benefits that will come with a steady practice. It’s not that the practice produces magic. The change it creates in you will lead to different outcomes. And this book presents this all in the frame of Nichiren Buddhism. Wonderfully narrated by the fantastically talented Dan Worden!

Worlds Apart tracks the Bride’s epic westward journey from California to the Straits of Gibraltar, with adventures in Hawaii, Japan, China, and India. The wrongs he encounters and the attempts to silence him are a constant reminder of his true mission: Ease the suffering of those unfortunate enough to be in the path of blind greed posing as God’s will. Holy Shit!!! Listen to This Audiobook!
Revisado: 07-26-20
David Goggins!!! Holy shit!!! What a freaking epic life this man has had and continues to have.
Goggins works to define a clear understanding of the differences between motivation and drive. He explores the reasons why we must dig deep into our own vulnerabilities to achieve the life we want to have. He provides examples from his own life that work to develop your understanding of the ideas he is presenting.
Listen to this Audiobook. You will hear things not present in the book. Skolnick does a fantastic job narrating and interviewing Goggins.
I have worked for the studio that produced this audiobook for over 11 years. I am most proud of this one.
Find that drive and go kick ass!!!!
