Better story but I still want more
Revisado: 04-29-24
This story was better than the first as I could follow it without getting lost. I still wish there was more to the story. I think this has great bones but she could really build out and make this story great. More side characters and time to develop them.
I hated how Mia kept teasing Ben all the time. It was really irritating and made me dislike her for the way she treated him.
Overall, the story was good but I am still left wanting more.

Lovely story but needs more
Revisado: 04-29-24
I feel like it was a very rushed love story. Going from beginning of story to two strangers fully in love in 1 hour. It was lacking character development and the relationship felt very predictable. I kept waiting for them to get to know one another so we could, but I don’t feel like we got to know them well at all. There aren’t many side characters to add to the beauty of the small town.
Then, I am still unsure why they fell apart? The library closes and his art exhibit fails and then they aren’t talking? I don’t understand how they got there and it just left so many questions.
As for the audio, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the voices the reader does, especially when Ethan is flirting with her. It was odd. Also, several moments the phrases repeated a couple times. Not sure what happened there, but it wasn’t my connection as I downloaded the book.
I wish the author would go back and develop the story more. This was a skeleton story and would be a great starting point, but needs more development to create a full story.
