Historia
Levi Brown has loved Noah White since he was a teenager, but Noah isn’t looking for a relationship. Every time Levi sees him, his heart aches for what it cannot have. Because dear Lord, he wants Noah, in his life, in his bed. Especially in his bed. The only reason Levi is still a virgin is because he was waiting for Noah. Except Noah doesn’t want him. Maybe it’s time for Levi to finally accept the situation and move on.

Loved it!
Revisado: 10-24-22
I was gifted a copy of this as I promised to write an honest review. The Maine Men series has been a wonderful series, and Levi's Love is a great finale to the series. It's a story of perceived unrequited love and how sexual labels can evolve and change. Ms Wells' writing style is easy, with a natural flow to it. Throughout the series we have learned about Levi's history and the issues he has had to live with. It was heartfelt to read about the closure he gets. And his HEA. John Solo's narration has been consistent throughout the series. It is laid back and relaxing. Another narrator might have used a more aggressive tone in certain passages. But Mr. Solo keeps things ca!m and easy. I have all 7 Audible books and and hoping to have the time to do a Maine Men marathon in the near future. This was a great listen.

Historia
After barely surviving a terrifying stalker, Kip is reexamining his life choices. There’s nothing like almost dying to make you take stock of things. One bright spot is that the ever-maddening Merrick Dawson has stopped following him around picking on him. Merrick has begun dating Peter Harris, who by all accounts is a wonderful guy. When Kip is asked out on a romantic sunset cruise by one of Pearl Cove’s most eligible bachelors, he decides he has nothing to lose. But when Kip shows up for the cruise, instead of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, he finds his date dead.

An Easy, Fun Mystery
Revisado: 09-06-22
I was given a copy of the audiobook in exchange for given a fair review.
Why would I give a 5* review for a cozy mystery? Because it is a great cozy mystery. I read a lot and after reading some angst ridden stories , I crave a bit if fluff. That is what this is but it is also well written and the MC’s are well developed. I did not read the first book in the series, but the information integrated into this story got you up to speed so you can enjoy this book as a stand alone. The plot was great with a few twists and red herrings to keep you guessing. James Woodrich does a great job with narration. I have forsaken listening to the radio on my commute and listen to audiobooks instead. Last Date has been added to my play list on rotation.

Historia
Shaun doesn’t have much of a life. When he’s not working in the restaurant in Portland, Maine, he’s home looking after his dad who has dementia. The only people he sees on a regular basis are his coworkers, and Nathan, his dad’s in-home nurse - except he and Shaun are like ships that pass in the night. It didn’t take Nathan five minutes to know that Shaun is a special guy. But Nathan’s attraction to him has to go on the back burner: Shaun’s focus is all on his dad. Maybe it’s time for Nathan to convince Shaun otherwise.

Tears and Smiles
Revisado: 03-22-22
I have read and listened to all the books in the Maine Men series and this one is up there with the rest of them. I would classify this one as one of Ms Wells' "bittersweet" tales. You will smile at the end with the HEA, but be warned, tears will be shed along the way. John Solo does a fantastic job narrating this one. Listening to all five audiobooks he provides a unifying tone, but each one is different, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Historia
Recently-divorced Joel is finally living as a gay man, but he’s not sure he’s ready to jump into a relationship. That doesn’t stop him from noticing his new contractor’s muscular build, hewn from hard, physical work, or his storm-colored eyes. The icing on the cake? There’s more to Finn than good looks. Maybe he’s the perfect guy to share long walks on the beach and warm nights in front of a fire. But it’s been 20 years since Joel was with a man. While he’s not forgotten how to flirt, he’s nervous about making a move. Especially with Finn.

A Great Start to a New Series
Revisado: 05-19-21
Great story, wonderful characters, beautiful setting. The narration was fantastic. What more can I say?! I've already listened to it 3 times as well as having read the book first. K.C. Wells writes so many different genres, but I would have to say the low angst, slow burn like this story is my favourite one to read and enjoy. John Solo's narration is so enjoyable to listen to.

Historia
He’s a shining star, I’m a black hole. Complete opposites. And just like our astronomic counterparts, there’s no way Marty’s light is ever going to brighten me. Black holes don’t let any light escape. They devour it all. And that’s what will happen to Marty if he doesn’t keep his distance from me. I want to warn him, but there’s a selfish part of me that can’t do it. Like a moth, I’m drawn to Marty’s light. I know I should stay away — for his sake more than mine — but I can’t.

Really enjoyed it
Revisado: 03-14-21
I read the series when it was first published and love all the books. When I got the opportunity to get this audiobook I didn't hesitate. The audiobook is as enjoyable as the printed book is. I hadn't heard of the narrator Cam Walker before and felt he did a wonderful job. I didn't remember so much of the dialogue being internal. Maybe reading it, I just didn't think about it. But Cam Walker did a great job conveying the internal thoughts of the MCs. His tone seemed right. This audiobook is definitely going on my repeat listen list.

How does he explain all this to Del, his brother? That’s a conversation Jon is dreading. Del is the only family Jon has left, and he’s going to be hurt. Angry. Not to mention, there are secrets Jon does not want to share.

So Good
Revisado: 01-01-21
I loved reading the book and the series, and was really excited to get the audiobook to listen to. K. C. Wells weaves a wonderful story with characters that you can really relate to, The characters problems and personal demons resonate on many levels. Ms Wells' story telling works through the trials and tribulations beautifully. John Solo's narration is first rate. He gives the characters voices which draw you in. This is a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
