This book is right on point. It is consistent in it's message of the standard justice that is required for all successful societies. We must obey our Creator. We must turn from madness, seek goodness, and live.

What made the experience of listening to America the Beautiful the most enjoyable?

It flows very smoothly from one topic to another. Dr. Carson does a very good job in engaging his audience, weaving his own experience in with the history that we may already know.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well, I think Dr. Carson sort of stole the show. However, he would likely suggest that his mother should compete for this title.

Which scene was your favorite?

Running to save his life, when a bunch of racist children wanted to throw him in the river. I am sure that it was quite serious at the time, however, Dr. Carson was able to tell the story with a certain amount of levity, and understanding of the era. Moreover, it has imparted a degree of love for America in spite of her flaws, which we all should work to improve by working hard to be good people.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Quest to be a Good People and a Great Nation Under God.

Any additional comments?

Loved it.
