Historia
A Dweller on Two Planets or The Dividing of the Way, a book by Frederick Spencer Oliver, was published in 1905. In the introduction, Oliver claims that the work had been channeled through him by means of automatic writing, visions, and mental dictations by a spirit called Phylos the Thibetan. The book provides a first person account of Atlantean society which had reached a high level of technological and scientific advancement.

Excellent, timeless
Revisado: 01-02-23
The mystery surrounding this work and the author are as intriguing a the book itself.
The narrator does a good job; this is a very long read! While it is smooth and entertaining, there is much that provokes deep thought. As a result one may require several repeats.
That said, it is a grand adventure for anyone curious about the Atlantean epoch.

Historia
Cayce's readings not only provide insights into biblical accounts of angels that have been forgotten by history, but he goes on to describe how, in light of the Oneness of God, the nature of "fallen angels" might be very different than we have ever supposed. On more than 20 occasions, two specific angels spoke through Edgar Cayce in an effort to bring information from the world of spirit into the material realm.

A Glimpse into the Angelic Realm
Revisado: 10-24-22
Cayce's work resonates with me, so while I'm biased in that respect, this is a book that both confirmed and cleared up questions (and answers) that can be found elsewhere, such as the names of the angels, some of which match those of the 72 angels made known by the Qabbalistic traditions. Since Cayce was not a scholar, I doubt that he'd have had access to this information at the time.
Even if you don't buy in to the prophecy angle, there's value in anecdotal testimony throughout.

Historia
The calming effects and neurological benefits of meditating have been so well-documented that they speak for themselves at this stage in our collective understanding. Chanting has a similar effect to meditation - at least, according to the brain. It has been shown to increase alertness while easing physiological bodily stress. Not only that, but chanting has the effect of producing an alpha wave in the brain.

Tone matters
Revisado: 03-07-22
While I greatly appreciate the intention of the narrator, I suggest perhaps no music in the background of the chanting; apart from the first chant "Om" the music and the voices were not in harmony at all, the rhythm was off and would've been more conducive to the listener if there was no music, in order to sink into the meditation. Due to this discordant effect, I'm unable to finish the book.

Historia
The power of mantras comes not from the meaning of the symbols, but from their direct vibrational effect on our body's physiological and energetic systems. Ashley-Farrand also teaches that Sanskrit is an energy-based language and mantras are spiritual formulas for working with this energy. They are desgined to eliminate obstacles as we progress spiritually, and help us to make energetic progress toward good.
