I take Spanish classes once a week but I also like to listen to Spanish audiobooks/courses pretty much every day while in my car and when I exercise. For me, I find that listening to an audiobook is much more engaging than studying a textbook and it helps me to learn faster. I’ve bought other Spanish short storybooks in the past that weren’t very good but this one is refreshingly very well made. My hats off to the creators! The storylines kept my interest throughout the entire audiobook and it included useful vocabulary and great study material that was just what I needed. I just finished listening today and I’m starting again from chapter one to help improve my listening and comprehension skills even more. Great overall experience. Highly recommend!

Eye Opener about Social Anxiety!

The first thing this book thought me is that I did not know what social anxiety was. Even though I thought I did. Interestingly I thought two people that are very close to me have it, and it made me feel so good to know that they don't. Having said that, I do think we all have in certain social situations some kind of anxiety, and this book helped me to deal better with mine. I like that the author brings in personal examples, so the book is easy to understand and to relate to without all the abstract examples that I sometimes read about in other books, but they seem so unrealistic to me. This is an easy read, but with a ton of valuable insights. I can highly recommend this book.

I Can't Believe How Much This Book Has Helped Me!!

Full disclosure here, I suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, and probably ADD (not diagnosed). And any kind of stress makes everything so much worse. That's why I am always on the lookout for new ways to control my stress level. I am so glad that I found this book. It is not too long (my ADD), and not too academic or theoretical (again my ADD) and the narrator's voice is very pleasing and the way she reads it makes it "entertaining". Stress Relief for the Anxious Mind is amazing, I can't believe how much I love the activities and exercises this book provides. And for the first time in a while, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, I am not saying that this book will instantly make everything all right. But for me, it provides me with tools to make some small steps toward my happiness.
