Patterson’s stories never disappoint

Sanaa is wonderful in the main role. The rest of the cast is also excellent. Sometimes the female voices are confusing and it’s hard to tell them apart. But otherwise is great. Highly recommend.

Elegantly gothic and mysterious

I’ve been a Victoria Holt fan since I was a teenager and decades later I’m enjoying her gothic stories in audible format. I wasn’t too fond of the female reader doing the male voice. I wished it was read by an actual male voice. Otherwise the reader was very good.

Loved the ensemble of the characters and of course the story.

The story wraps you up slowly into a world suspected by all, but very few are privileged to find it. Jessica Chastain is fantastic. The other actors are the best of the best, like Ellen Burstyn. I listened to it, but I’m also watching it. I keep looking for something similar in audible. But I have not found it yet. This one is a jewel.
