I don't know, but it was better than a movie! Enjoyed it so much, I just absorbed it in one day. Good world building, not over-explained. Loved that it was based in Ireland. Lot's of room left for quick a few more books, I am hoping. Thanks Travis!

After 1.5 years of werewolves and vampire books, I needed something else. This was a perfect book. Loved it. Loved the narrator. It make me smile, cry and feel joy. Excited to start on book 2!

I always expect a good story from Shannon and this excelled. Narrator could do better with the male voices but it did not deter from the story. Loved it! Cannot wait till book 2.

Extreme case of blinding awe of Trump.

Lots of facts, a good read for people who like Trump. But Christie needs to take those Trump-blinders off. Everyone knew Jared would never forgive him and worked against him all the time. And Christie never hits on the behind-the-doors issus, dark secrets and discussions where he was not privy. He says Trump is smart, so yes, quite a few people believe Trump was very capable and worked to get illegal dirt on Hillary. Chris skips over that too much. Skips over Trumps flaws as President. Blind man love, too in-awe of DJT. Otherwise - not a bad read,

What did you love best about Unholy Ghosts?
The realism of these urban fantasy characters, the love story between Chess and Terrible was breath-taking. And the narrator was fabulous! I wish she would do more Urban Fantasy books!
What other book might you compare Unholy Ghosts to and why?
hmm. the story was so gritting and realistic, really went into the whole addiction scene. Maybe compare it to like "Seven Years" by Dannika Dark?
What about Bahni Turpin’s performance did you like?
Her voice was slightly scatchy and horse, so I kind of related that to what may happen to a drug abuser. Quite a realistic sound.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I flew through this series. Like getting addicted to the characters? SciFi readers know what I mean.

Really, really wish the author would consider a spin-off or another book?

Where does The Unleashing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This story starts out well and ends well. Lots of everything for everyone. Adult Urban Fantasy at it's best! Can't wait for #2 and will go off and try her Dragon series next. Thanks Shelly - you are good! And I liked this narrator as well!
Who was your favorite character and why?
The lead was good - Kera. But I liked how we got to know more about all the other Crows. Kept this read moving well and interesting. Lots of really good story lines to move forward with. Great start to a super series!
Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have heard her quite a bit and liked her every time. She actually does pretty good male voices and she does not have the annoying Southern twang. ARGH.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Seriously? Too much action and fantasy to put in a movie. Motion pictures are not up to speed with our imaginations - not yet anyway.
