Credit scam 🤬
Revisado: 04-28-25
Watch out for this one. It’s a 50 minute credit scam of useless information about how Jack and Conor met. This should have been included with the book 2 purchase!

Historia
Two astronomers have detected a strange, pulsing signal from deep space. Within hours, the US government goes into lockdown, restricting airspace and scrubbing scientific data. Was the signal an intercepted communication revealing alarming plans for an enemy’s military strike? Or has humanity at long last found proof of extraterrestrial life?

Why not write a story about a billionaire stepping up to help people and setting up a meeting place for an actual alien race who did in fact contact human kind.
The billionaire could in fact bring the people of the world together instead of spending all your time writing about a hoax.

Historia
You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me. And that’s when you met me." A short story about the universe.

Historia
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Excellent book!
Revisado: 12-22-24
This book was great! I am usually a space guy and I wasn’t sure if I’d like this one but I tried it anyway. RC Bray makes just about any book better and paired with a good author. The book comes to life. This one did just that!

Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Very hard to follow
Revisado: 12-12-24
Not only hard to follow but trying to copy another author and even using a name associated with another’s series. Come on now, be unique and don’t piggy back on someone else’s fame. It reeks of desperation.
I’ve listened to all of this series and the first two books were the best. 3 and 4 were ok and now this one is trying to do too much as well as piggy backing the ski*** name. I wouldn’t be surprised if this author gets a legal notice from the other author.

The Merry Band of Pirates stopped the enemy from stealing a Sentinel, and destroyed its Elder starship, so why weren’t the Pirates planning a victory party? The enemy was not what they thought it was. It was much, much worse.

Revisado: 09-17-24
What a shocking end to this book! I know that they will succeed in getting Skippy back! He should use the blinking out of this layer of space time like he did when he rescued Joe after he abandoned him. Skippy can move to outside the star that way and then contact the ship.

Historia
The human race has turned to dust. August Morrison faces it after rising from the depths of a dark matter research facility in Arizona. His co-workers. His daughter. All of them: dust. Friends and colleagues around the world don’t answer their phones. The city of Phoenix burns. He is alone. As a world without mankind starts to crumble, August fights not just for survival, but for his very sanity. On the other side of the country, Poe McDowell watches her parents crumble into dust just moments after being shoved inside a coffin-like device that spares her from the same fate.

Way too many adjectives
Revisado: 02-05-24
The flood of adjectives is a sure sign that the writer has no skills telling the story and it takes away from the overall story experience.

Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

So glad this story continues!!
Revisado: 12-14-23
Didn’t see the ending coming and I’m so extremely glad that this story continues. These characters have taken on a life to the readers and listeners. There is no doubt that this story could go on for another 10+ books and still stay on top of the best seller lists. By far the best book series I’ve ever come across in my entire lifetime.

Story is good but the fake southern accent is just stupid
Revisado: 10-08-23
It’s absolutely sad that this series has a good storyline but the atrocious fake southern accent of this pathetic narrator robs so much from the series. I will continue to listen and I will also give this narrator a low rating on every book or pack of books.
I truly hope that this narrator has gone on to sake groceries at the local grocery store and has stopped narrating or at least retired this stupid fake southern accent. It’s an insult to all us southerners.

The horrible fake southern accent is horrible
Revisado: 10-04-23
This narrator is pitiful. He has no idea what a real southern accent sounds like. He sounds like someone who’s had a stroke and can’t finish the words. NOT a southerner. The entire series would be so much better without that garbage.
