Amazing add to a great series

The book and narration overall are great. My only dislike was the narrator saying fowl isn’t of foal. I would assume someone listens to the recordings and can edit before finalizing

I loved this book. Stina Nielsen did an amazing job, as ever bringing the characters to life. There were a few times I got mad at the characters, but that’s how I know it’s good, I’m that sucked into it. HFN ending thankfully. Can’t wait for more :)

The PLOT TWIST!

There were several aspects of this story that I felt were similar to the Dragon Envoy series, especially in the beginning, but as the story developed the differences became more apparent. Then when you feel like you know which direction the story is going, PLOT TWIST! I love it when I’m wrong and authors surprise me.

Don’t believe the bad reviews - read this book

There were a bunch of bad reviews, but also several telling me to ignore them. This book was very good, and I am about to start the second in the series. Laura did a great job of developing the relationship between Petulance and Sara. Of course the beginning is rocky, but it wouldn’t make sense otherwise.
This book is definitely worth the read/listen.
Susannah did a great job narrating, she was able to pull me into the story by her great portrayal of the complex emotions both characters felt

That cliffhanger was not nice

Narrators Great! Ending Rushed :/

The plot is great, and there are parts where the pace of the story was just right, but there are some points that feel rushed. I think there is enough story that this could have been a longer book, and really given more of the relationship developments btw the two main characters. I feel like the entire “falling in love” part was glossed over and the HEA was squeezed into a single chapter. If you want a quick listen then this will be great, if you prefer longer stories with all the details, this book is not for you.

Amazing!

Ughhhhh such a good series! Lots of twists and turns. Definitely a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next in the series, I wish it were possible for authors to put out an entire series like Netflix drops entire seasons.
