Well written sage advice

The book itself is well written, logical in both its historical analysis as well as its following logically (and proven) linear paths forward through the coming history.
It provides sound advice for the current generations and I am sure will provide instrumental insights into what was predicted when later future generations read it.
I hope that we as a society can learn to move successfully through the seculums and learn from our past to improve the future.

Great Clive Cussler book, dreadful narration

The book is yet another great example of Cussler’s writing (both Clive & Dirk). Exciting novel but the narration for this book was so dreadfully boring it seemed as though the narrator was reading a dissertation or formal report.
The narrator’s tone was stiff and without much feeling and his accents were so poor. He would’ve been better off not using accents at all. This would not have improved the lack of feeling in the reading but would’ve made it somewhat more enjoyable to listen to.
They need someone who has someone who conveys feeling to read books like this which are adventure novels. They should invoke feelings of danger, romance, and intrigue, not just rely on the writing to convey it.
Would not buy another book, unless a text book, read by this narrator.

Bewitchingly British Spy Story

The author has done a marvellous job in uncovering the remaining details that had been fictitiously substituted by the British government in the release of the original story by Montague.
It is now a story Britain can be proud of admitting to as it highlights the British war departments in their true light of having tremendous agencies that trained the Americans, and many other nations, on how to do spy craft correctly.
John Lee as always delivers the text in his usual fabulous nature with feeling, nuance, and deft.

A fantastic start to the trilogy with exceptional narration

A fantastic start to the trilogy with exceptional narration.
I found the narration superb, but the voices and singing was lacking. I appreciate Mr. Sibley’s interpretations of the songs and voices, but wish for a version that incorporates the narration along with a cast of voices, proper music and songs.
I find no fault in the book or Tolkien’s writings perhaps only to agree with him that the book is too short.
If you love The Lord of the Rings you will love hearing the book as it was originally written and not interpretations or condensed versions of the text.

Holmes, Watson, and Fry are splendid together

Not only is this definitive Sherlock Holmes collection but it is narrated by who I can only say is one of the best narrators of our current generation.
Steven Fry brings Holmes and his adventures to life through Conan Doyle’s writings but he provides some astute insight into the Holmesian world, it’s author, as well as telling us a little about Fry himself and why he grew up loving Holmes.
Buy this if you love Holmes. Rush to buy it now if you love both Fry and Holmes.

Wealth of great inspiration & thought-work

Examining himself, Rutherford, as well as his experiences show the routes of his great insight.
He provides solid well thought out logical arguments for what he found worked for him and enabled him to have the distinguished career in the armed forces with boots on the ground or in the classroom.
Rutherford provides excellent thought-work for helping do your own introspective work to help you achieve your goals.
